You are leaving the fox to watch the henhouse if you give reps any say on what leasing company you use. You also deserve whatever you get if low rates are your criteria. Low rates mean one thing..."alternative forms of revenue." Leasing companies are going to get their money in other ways. P4Photel is sponsored by a leasing company that won't compete for your business, won't charge for insurance, property tax, or Doc Fees, has a month-to-month renewal, has an early termination that is...

I would be surprised if any such discretionary spending can survive unless Fox Con desides to dump a bunch of money into making this acquisition pay off. Remember that Sharp has already cut to the bone and some things probably cannot be cut any further.

Re: USA Presidential Poll

Obama is a very rich black guy, so what's the point? Just because you have younger children does that make your thought or decision process different when governing? Romney is a businessman, and he is proven, thus the reason for his wealth! With 1.6 trillion owed to China, and 1.1 trillion owed to Japan and a 16 trillion dollar debt, waste in government needs to be cut. The Tea Party does not control the republican party, it is an extreme element of the Reuplican Party, although they have...

I do get the impression that CNN is a little bit left of center towards the Democrats but hardly extreme. I think that is somewhat because the Republican party make so many non factual statements they are easy to pick on. CNBC is definitely much more pro Republican. I do not have access to Fox. Yes, I definitely think that if you have young children living at home, this puts you way more in touch with a different demographic that would influence your decisions. I guess my point about rich...

You can't seriously think the recent debt ceiling debacle, the loss of USA AAA Credit rating, the American public's lowest opinion of the effectiveness of Congress ever recorded somehow makes gridlock a good thing. I agree the poll thing is very momentary. After I made the post, I reviewed the source and it was a poll of 1,000 people. Also, I did take some time to read Fox News. I was shocked to read it as so politically one sided and very pro Republican. I then read a few articles from CNN...

You are assuming that gridlock made those issues worse. I contend that many things would be worse if it weren't for gridlock. Take the debt ceiling for instance. A law was passed that established that any increases in the debt ceiling would be offset by budget cuts. The Republicans, some of them anyway, wanted Congress to uphold that law under the belief that we can't keep going the way we have been. They fought valiantly but enough of them eventually caved. Incidently, the increased debt is...

As a Canadian viewer, there is some serious bias happening between the media published by CNN and Fox News sixty days before the election. It is like two different news feeds. One has a major story, the other has a different major story. To me, both seem to be a cheerleader for the Democrats or the Republicans. Fox seems less balanced.

Re: USA Presidential Poll

I see two factors at play in the way that the media broadcast news, particularly in the US. The first is to present news to attract an audience, and in so doing it tends to prefer the sensational over the mundane. It is sensational to find the hidden flaws in any public figure, be that political, in the entertainment business or a sporting figure. We see in this US election coverage repeated inclusion of Trump's bogus claims without any serious fact checking and we also see this in...

I do not follow your logic about how mentioning talk radio makes me seem as a biased commentator. Unlike 10 years ago and certainly unlike 20 years ago, people consume media from many more different platforms than was ever available in the past. People who form their opinions based on only a few media outlets that they exclusively pay attention to are at risk of having the same bias as the media outlet. A perfect example was two days ago when George HW Bush Senior stated that he was going to...

11 years earlier than was predicted just 8 years ago. Apparently (though not every source agrees), the reason for this is the dramatically higher cost of private services. Some blamed the prescription drug benefit President Bush added, but that doesn't seem to justify the massive additional expenditures.
