Let the other guy get this deal and we will focus on some other deal where we can make some money. We also say, "you can't beat stupid" when we just have to walk away from some deals with a shrug. Art, I love your optimism. We have been doing good on lease renewals but our new business is almost non-existent. Word is that NY and PA are shutting back down today. More businesses around me are closing or laying off employees, several restaurants have permanently shut down. I don't think it hurt the industry as bad as we thought but I can almost certainly say your colleague is incorrect in saying Covid "was the best thing to happen to our industry."
