I would say you answered your own question. Why would you double the cost of a component of your copier when the benefits are negligible? You mentioned faster access time which is true. Don't you hate standing at the copier while the screen is saying "Please wait, Accessing Hard Drive?" You mentioned 100% reliable, which is not true. They are certainly more reliable, and there's no concern about drive heads, but once again, not a lot of problems there. The most common issue with hard drives...

from my poor memory, in web image monitor, login and go to the forwarding screen, create a scanner destination that has an email address, their is a bitswitch that can be set so it will be a PDF, turn on wild card and don't put in any list that would restrict which ones by an id, I beleive that is it. easier than going through the control panel.

Jason, We looked hard at picking up a line but decided against it. Even now it seems like the wild west (Betamax vs VHS). We have also heard stories like yours where dealers had picked up a line (I think there are a half dozen technologies) had some initial success and then it kind of lingered.
