This Week in the Copier Industry 5 Years Ago (Second Week of February 2015)
It's Friday night and late. Tuesday evening I traveled to Atlantic City for our annual showing of wide format copiers and white boards. Our event started Wednesday in the AM and lasted until 1PM today. I'm getting too old to put in 10 hour days on the show floor (lol). I love doing them because of the interaction with potential clients and you never know who you're going to meet. We brought the BIG 65 inch white board and it was the sizzle that we needed to catch all of those prospects. All...

Ten years ago this week, we saw the launch of the W2400 & 3600 from Ricoh, still can't get over how quickly time flies by. "I'm Listening are You?", was a thread I posted ten years ago. I re read the entire thread and the first thing that came to my mind is that I need to concentrate on letting the client do most of the talking. I had to go back and do some editing one of the blogs I wrote 5 years ago. Seems my fat fingers and my racing mind leads me to many typo's and grammar errors. I do not profess to be a writer, but just a copier sales person that likes to write stories with an occasional opinion or two. Here's the blog I touched up 5 Reasons WHY You Will Fail Selling Copiers Enjoy these awesome threads from 5 years ago this week! I didn't have to do it but I did. Last week I sent an email to all the sales managers at Stratix with a cut and paste of Section 179 web site. Hoping that they would share will all of their sales peeps. It's crazy that when I speak about Section 179 most business owners have no clue what it is or how it can affect their profit margins. This Week in the Copier Industry Five Years Ago Last Week of December 2016 Two days left for the month, the year and the quarter. I received one of my last orders a few minutes ago for a wide format MFP and I have another verbal promised for late today for $14K A3 color MFP. That $14K puts me at 130% for the year and not a bad way to end, for some reason I think the last one will take multiple emails or a visit to bring it home. There's also one other opportunity out there for a $40K net...
