Ricoh IM 550F, IM 600F and IM 600SRF Copier aka MFP Specs in Review
Just a note for everyone, these specs are coming from a brochure that sourced on the web for Ricoh Asia Pacific. While the IM 550F has not been released in the United States I would expect that most if not all of the specs will be the same for the US market. It seems there will be three models offered by Ricoh. The IM 550F, IM600F and the IM 600SRF. There was a note on the brochure that stated double feed detection is only available on the IM 600F and the IM 600SR. Double Feed Detection So...

The specs are in the product support guide for the printer version, my DBM said they were to be launched early this month but...…..I ordered a 501 Friday and the ship date is January 2020 so the launch could be in progress right now.

Dang another Kyocera engine! Ricoh's going down hill, why give money to your competitors, its just like trading a player on your sports team within your division.

Has Ricoh ever actually manufactured an A4 engine that didn't suck?(816 tp 920, solid but slow) I don't remember one. I signed up with Kyocera because if I'm gonna sell a Kyo engine I'm gonna sell the cheap one with the better warranty.

yes there were many and tops being the MP 151, MP161, 171 and the MP 301SP. Those were all solid A4 print engines, not sure why Ricoh is now farming out A4 black to Kyo

I referenced that series but the MP 301's, in our experience pushed the limits of that engine too far and we've had so many premature PCU f ailures that we're getting them out of the field as fast as we can. Ricoh has done the same thing with the duplicator line, as soon as the finally figure it out they start rebranding Duplo which has a 5 million page life, not much for a dupe.
