Hey Art! I started using Aweber email software about 5 months ago. I send out a monthly newsletter with a customized template. People read it! Best part is that you always stay top of mind with your prospects. I actually exported my contact list from my CRM software and imported that into Aweber. Currently have about 100 prospects and customers in my email list. It's great! Much cheaper than a mailer.

I havn't seen one placement of the frontier in my territory yet. But that doesn't mean they aren't out there. I see the whole copier industry making a shift to A$ devices in the next 24 months or less, they have too. Price is the driving factor, I've heard it all about A4's, such as "A4's can't hold up to heavy volume", oh yea then why do I see laser printers with hundreds of thousands of prints on them and they weigh under 100lbs? Heck, I just came from an account that has 180K on a Ricoh...

Yes, Ricoh (with IKON, RBS, SAVIN, LANIER) still holds the #1 position as of end 2010 Q2 (April through end June 2010). Yet, they are down -18% (in terms of Units) as compared to the same time period last year (2009).

Xerox discontinued the ColorQube 93xx series at the end of Q2! The 8900 A4 model is still selling strong and I have huge companies that love them. They are 100% user serviceable and solid as a rock of the same dimensions!

Art, you're right. National Azon is a great asset to us as reps to hit the AEC vertical. In addition they also sell just stand alone large format scanners. I worked with them (but didn't win) on an opportunity at a state archive for scanning super old documents. The rep was super helpful and if it weren't for a prior relationship we would have won. Hey all, we've seen a large increase unit sales for Xerox AltaLink and VersaLink lines in Q2 (both vs. last year and the previous quarter). I'm trying to figure out why this growth is happening.
