Good post. I agree that enthusiasm is critical in the area of leadership. I also agree that good management is critical in driving progress...which can ultimately result in transformation. However, we differ in the idea that someone is either an enthusiastic leader or a good manager. The most effective and enduring leaders I have worked with have also had very strong management skills. My thoughts on a Senior VP's request to join: a.) It illustrates the level of legitimacy this site has attained. b.) This site originated largely due to the fact that our concerns were being censored. What we (at least I) wanted was valid and accurate discourse. Maybe the possibility of reaching that goal is hampered somewhat by the lack of senior management participation. Wouldn't the ultimate be to have open dialog from all sides? c.) I wouldn't hold his/her desire to remain anonomous...

I think this is hilarious. When all else fails within your business model turn to being the low price leader. What ever happened to selling value. I thought business were in business to profit. I would be curious if they stole their current business model from RBS. Being the low price leader will get you somewhere for segment 1/2 but you sure are not going to be a very healthy & profitable company long term.

Look for the "i" model. Like a 3235i or the 3245i. You can also get the non "i" model as well. What are the criteria that you customer is looking for?
