I would be careful doing email blasts because they can be looked like they are spam and you will be tracked down and fined if not worse. They are unsolicited advertising. I am not sure what the laws are in Canada but I have known people in the US for getting in trouble for doing this same thing when they were called out on it. There have been many studies on this topic and it has a very very low rate of return. Just look you sent 700 emails with only one small 20ppm unit sold. Most people do...

Sounds like the sensors are working properly. Check the toner add system, motor, clutch, gears. Sometimes if all the tone is at one end of the tube when newly installed, the toner gear may break a couple of teeth.

Re: afi 3030 & 3035 fax sending issue
Check Dial Tone Detectiion is not enabled User Bit Switch 22, should all be zero. Did they run up OK at PDI? Did you test them before installation. By disabling dial tone detect they should dial in any circumstances. Try them while not even connected to the line, they should still dial.

Apparently the MFD was not detecting a valid dial tone, so it would not dial. The Fix User Parameter Switch 22 Bit 0 change from 1 -> 0 to disable the detection of a dial tone before dialing. This did fix the problem, thanks now we can focus on one of the machines having challenges receiving documents.

The observations provided by 'Old Glory' concerning Vision 2008 are similar to the general feedback from the Savin Connections 2009 National Dealer Sales Meeting during February 2009. This Savin Connections had the lowest Dealer attendance ever, even with tremendous change within Ricoh and the industry. The tone was somewhat more somber and the length of the meeting was cut down to two days.
