I do not know anything about Epic but I am sure they have invested in a high quality Service Dept Management system. If after reviewing the the ink consumption on 1,000s of Epson printers they conclude the average page yield is maybe 50% of advertised, I would stay away from Epson as a key supplier for print devices. The fact that they are suing Epson for $20M in damages highlights the seriousness of the problem.

From what I understand they are the largest Epson dealer in the country, and the ink yields are nowhere near what Epson claims. Going to be interesting to follow this one.

We had an issue with Riso years ago on one of the Comcolor's. Even sent print samples to verify the ink yield. Actual was half of published. I stopped selling them after that especially to P4P clients
