I'm doing some research on the new PBM350 and I'm seeing a cost increase of almost $3 over the BK5010e that was used for the older MP1107EX Ricoh. Does anyone know why the huge increase. Is there some new feature that I'm not aware of?

Canon MAJOR price increase
So I guess if you ordered devices on after March 1st and they are not shipped my March 31st the 7.5% increase is retroactive. I would say that 80% of all devices will not ship in time...... See attached document for the increase

80% is a very optimistic estimate. All devices we've ordered from Canon in the past 6 months have taken AT LEAST 30 days to arrive, but 90+ days has been the "average". We still have a half dozen unreceived equipment orders from November/December with "No ETA". This increase is going to squeeze a lot of their small dealers out of selling Canon who already experienced pressures from their Price Discount Level changing last year which basically acted as a 3-4% price increase on hardware for...

Heard this on Xerox: Xerox Price Increase o Effective 3-1-2022 o 7% increase across the entire A3 product line. o “up-to” 10% across A4 product line but officially determined yet. o 4% increase in all aftermarket.
