If it is true warrantee work for Dell, Gateway, Micron systems etc, they usually have their contract techs in the local area come out and do the job right there for the customer. I have never seen it done any other way with the major manufacturers. As for other systems and out of warrantee stuff, it is pretty easy to find a contract or staff PC technician to do most of that type of work. I do it myself from time to time but for TRUE warrantee work I believe that the manufacturers take care...
