A series of 'tracking dots' that were inadvertently published by The Intercept on leaked documents could have led to the arrest of an NSA contractor. The anti-counterfeiting used by at least 1 major copier vendor uses a series of yellow dots on every full color output page. These dots can be decoded by the manufacturer to reveal the serial number. You can see the dots under a magnifying loupe. Most people are unaware of this.
