Ricoh CW 2201SP ink head cleaning issue
Having a bear with a few of these devices. Is there a way to set the CW2201SP to clean the ink heads every few days? Maybe some type of internal service mode software setting?

What Color Plotters Would You Recommend?
I also received this email today from an end user. Thought it would be good to see what others would recommend and why. I am comparing 3 plotter brands to know which is the best option to buy. I'm looking for which one is better between Ricoh CW2201, Canon Tx4000 and HP T830, considering quality and speed of printing on plans.

Re: Ricoh CW 2201SP ink head cleaning issue
On the 2200 you needed to change settings in service mode but on the 2201 they added an auto nozzle check feature to solve this issue. The forgot to turn it on though so you need to go into system settings and set auto nozzle check to frequent.

Ricoh Wide Format Going Down the Tubes
Is anyone else selling the Ricoh line of wide format devices? Would love to hear your thoughts about the age of the CW2201 and the MP W6700SP. In addition have you heard any rumors of these models being replaced? Would love to have a chat and see what your strategy is moving forward.

Re: Ricoh Wide Format Going Down the Tubes
We just picked up Canon color plotters so we have the inkjet side covered. I have heard nothing regarding the W6700SP,seems odd they would only have one plotter in the lineup, i did mention to the owners to keep an eye out for options, we do sell a fair amount of 6700's.

Re: Ricoh Wide Format Going Down the Tubes
yeah nothing here with hearing updates on the MP W6700. I did hear that this was a Ricoh USA decision and not world wide. In any event I believe it's just a matter of time before Ricoh folds the tent on AEC wide format. Who knows maybe writing these threads may get then to change

The L5160 latex just relaunched with orange and green added as an L5160e model. I have heard nothing about the b/w updates.

How a dealer can improve the new Ricoh IM CW2200
Going to make a long story short. The previous MP Cw2201 color wide format from Ricoh offered a three position stacker. One of those three positions allowed the prints to lay flat when they came out of the device. With the new IM Cw2200 Ricoh failed to offer the 3 position stacker and went to a one position stacker. Great move since they eliminated the ability for the flat stacking feature. See below on current congig for IM Cw2200 and note the CW2200 B Unit Next image is of the previous MP...
