Wow. No poll answer regarding the rep’s activity…interesting. Over the years I have learned that if you work hard and SMART, you’ll hit your numbers. I also think that there is a condition that affects a lot of sales reps in virtually all industries. It is a type of an iron deficiency disorder. It is when iron in your blood is transformed into lead that forms in your rear end. If someone bounces from dealership to dealership and never finds success it is most likely them. If they’ve had...

I did not put an option for reps activity, because I believe most of the members here are true professionals and we understand how important it is to complete those activity goals for the week, month or quarter. You are correct, there are no short cuts, you need to work!! Originally Posted by dimaxusa: Wow. No poll answer regarding the rep’s activity…interesting. Re: Lease Approvals

I thought we had a thread similar to this and maybe even a poll. I would say that 90% of my deals are getting approved by the likes of GE, DLL, Great America, etc, however I am pre-screening customers now and not even taking apps from some, due to thier industry and or financial status. Some have bought and others have tried elsewhere, thus the reason my approval rate is high is because of the pre-screening and I believe would be far lower than 90%.

Being introduced in NJ. I'm going to get a copy of the bill to see who is responsible. I would say that the leasing company owns the machine and it should be there's (my opinion), however will it fall to the end user? Probabaly, would be a good question for a poll though. Art

We are a Konica and Ricoh dealer and I am familiar with both products (moreso the Ricoh). They are both good machines, but the 1060 software is far better in most respects: Scanning Konica scans to the hard drive on the controller and then you retrieve it from the "box" with a piece of software called ScanTrip, 25.00 per seat. You have to know which box to pull the scan from. It's what I would call pull scanning. ScanTrip can be set to poll the machine periodicaly to see if there is anything...

I guess it is not totally unfounded to blame the President for Iraq but the decision was supported by Congress and the American People at the time. As far as the decision to stay, even the Democrats are backing off discussions of immediate withdrawal. Most Americans do not support the Cut-and-Run approach. I also don't feel that "most Americans" are against "water boarding" or Warrantless wiretaps of terrorists. If you choose to believe the polls, keep in mind how easy it is to push an...

I would have to say that we have not seen any difference yet. However a mortagage broker who has paid every payment on time asked for a buyout from Marlin Leasing. Marling forwarded the buyout to us and then informed us that they would not take this business at all. Personally I have stayed away from Title, and Mortgage business for the last eight months. Usually it will be blurred in with their total acquisition/divestiture activity, which should be considerable. The purchase price is now "known" on the street, and it's enough to say that the poll above picked the best of the available answers, though several additional higher options would have been helpful.

It couldn't be that the "normal" retirement age for men in Japan is 60, and that Mr. Yoshida is now past that age? I base this on the fact that his bio shows him joining Ricoh in 1967 with a bachelor's degree, so I assume he was at least 21 at the time, giving him a "born on" date of 1946 or earlier. I realize that doesn't fit with the "boogey man" choices in the poll... sorry to be a buzz killer.

Re: USA Presidential Poll

I agree with SSG. The republicans are trying to buy the election they have more money than they know what to with and like SSG mentioned they are trying to suppress the RIGHT to VOTE. They are limiting poll hours with ridiculous times. Making up rules to keep people of voting is inhumane. It is obvious the republicans are scared otherwise why are they going to this measure. Level the playing field and go at this man to man.

Montecore: Supress voting, you have been listening to much CNN. So, I would tend to think that any person can walk into a voting station, not show proof of ID and we should believe that they are who they say they are? I shutter everytime I vote and am not even asked for my voter registration card or any ID. The people watching me have no idea who I am, until I tell them who I am. Heck, you even had to show photo ID just to get into the DNC Convention. There are too many crooked people in...

I am not studied enough in American politics to be able to defend my personal views against obvious pro republican sentiment. I do feel that the Bush era Republicans paved the way for the financial melt down of the US banking and mortgage system. The Obama administration had no choice but to take on major amounts of new debt to try and contain the crisis. This was closely followed by the auto crisis forcing more huge amounts of debt to bail out the industry. Everyone knew at the time, the...

You can't seriously think the recent debt ceiling debacle, the loss of USA AAA Credit rating, the American public's lowest opinion of the effectiveness of Congress ever recorded somehow makes gridlock a good thing. I agree the poll thing is very momentary. After I made the post, I reviewed the source and it was a poll of 1,000 people. Also, I did take some time to read Fox News. I was shocked to read it as so politically one sided and very pro Republican. I then read a few articles from CNN...

You are assuming that gridlock made those issues worse. I contend that many things would be worse if it weren't for gridlock. Take the debt ceiling for instance. A law was passed that established that any increases in the debt ceiling would be offset by budget cuts. The Republicans, some of them anyway, wanted Congress to uphold that law under the belief that we can't keep going the way we have been. They fought valiantly but enough of them eventually caved. Incidently, the increased debt is...

Food for thought...if the dustbowl years of the 1930's happened today, it would be blamed on man-made global warming. It...
