Re: Ricoh Copy Output Tray for MP 9002

msaeger ·
Another route you can take with these discontinued options is to order the parts through service. For instance the product code for this one is B756 so if you were to go to rfg-esource and search for the product code there is a parts book for the copy tray option and you (service) can order the parts. I have needed to do this with things like fax options.

Art, You and I are from similar professional backgrounds and times. We started in 1980 selling Sharp and Juki typewriters. Everything sold near MSRP. Then the fax boom came and we caught that wave perfectly. We sold Ricoh thermal faxes for full list ($2995.00). The only issue was cash flow; we sold them faster than we could order and purchase them. Copier Maintenance agreements went from .022 up to .035 and did not include drums, developer, toner, fuser rollers or lamps! Also, like your...

The new Pro Series Production Printers are successors to the highly successful Digital Document Publisher models, the DDP70e and the DDP92. Advantage of this binding is the ability to re-open and change/insert/delete previously bound pages from the "book". I don't like the resulting bind as much as I do the GBC Comb (Cerlok) Binding but the "Pro Click" bind is a finished set when removed from the device.

Found this on the web today:: By Pavel Alpeyev Nov. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Orbis Funds, the asset manager that opposed takeover offers by Warren Buffett and Citigroup Inc., rejected Canon Inc.’s 730 million euro ($1.1 billion) bid to buy unprofitable Dutch printer maker Oce NV as too low. Canon’s 8.60 euros-a-share offer “significantly undervalues” Oce’s assets, and Orbis doesn’t want to sell its stake of about 10 percent at that price, the Bermuda-based manager of $20 billion in assets said in a...

I talked to an IT Manager today who told me that if you format a HDD immediately twice in a row, it effectively destroys all useable data on the HDD. Most HDs store data in two parts. The Security Key and the data. Some Data removal software programs only remove the security key. I am told this is like removing the Index from a book and scrambling up the book. The data is still there but needs to be rebuilt.

We have a 40-system install of Global Scan and the need for training is minimal for the Ricoh reps and the end-user. Global Scan has fewer options for customizing a scanned document compared to Scanrouter Lite or Pro. Also, the options for sending are found in one spot and not broken out into several tabs. Operating GS is easy, the issues I have are with the software itself. There are at least two glitches with the software or MFP firmware that Ricoh has yet to fix. Our customer has had the...

Scott, What specifically is their application? Remember, the 2035/45, 1224/32, the 2090/2105, and 1060/75 all come with scan to e-mail out of the box. If they are sending to less than 2000 destinations, and don't require authentication. You're good to go out of the box. I'm told there is a way to create a csv? file form you e-mail address book and upload to the copier via smartnet monitor. If they require authentication or direct access to mailserver then you add Global Scan. Pete M.

It appears to not have any speed or quick dials, no finishing...I don't even think it has zoom. Maximum paper capacity is only 1600 sheets (600 standard). Well, alot administrators have a 30, 60, or 90 day password policy. And when you setup a SMB scanning and the file destination is located on a server, the admin usually gives you the administrator password. Well, this password policy will effect you because you used the same credentials for each entry. They CORRECT workaround is to request a separate username and password created just for that MFP itself. And allow that newly created username and password FULL right access to the scan folder...
