Where to Find Leads for the Contex IQ Flex Flatbed Scanner

Art Post ·
There's a tremendous amount of data that you can consume from a brochure. Sure, the brochure will give the specs, the data and a nice glossy photo. You'll get to read about the speed of the device, all of the awesome technology that's packed into the IQ Flex color wide format scanner. That's all useful data when you have the conversation with the decision maker and or the IT person. What the brochure won't tell you is what type of accounts may have the need for the IQ Flex wide format color...

Alright, I'm ready to start the first day of the last week of the month for me. Thus far it's been a struggle trying to get prospects to move forward with an order. I'll admit that Labor Day, the golf event and BTA has taken it's toll this month. Those four days are 20% of the month. Thus I plan to be up at 5AM tomorrow and hope to be at the office around 6AM. Hoping the extra hours can make up for some of the time I lost. Enjoy these awesome threads from ten years ago this week! Topic Color...

It was 15 years ago this week when Ricoh launched the MP 240W digital wide format printer/copier/scanner. It was a fantastic time for me in sales. I guess I was at the right spot at the right time. Similar to when Minolta launched the Minolta 450Z copy machine back in 1984. Ricoh broke the bank with the MP 240W in 2004. There was no other digital wide format like it that could print/scan and copy for the price. Many Architects, Engineers and Construction companies were farming out prints and...

This Week in the Copier Industry 10 Years Ago (Second Week of July 2009)

It was ten years ago this week for the Ricoh "cleansing". These times were the months after Ricoh had acquired Ikon. Many great long time Ricoh peeps lost their jobs and were replaced by many Ikon peeps. GMAN paints an accurate picture of the "cleansing" in the thread titled "Cleansing". That is below or you can read it here. It's still my belief that when Ricoh cut the deal for Ikon, one of the covenants of the deal was that many Ikon Execs had to stay on for x amount of time. Enjoy these...

The Week in Copiers 5 Years Ago This Week In 2015, the 3rd Week of August For the last three weeks I've been held hostage with binge watching Black Sails. There were four seasons and I'm in the last season and about halfway through to the end. Pirates, Nassau and the British Empire proved to be an enjoyable story line for me. However on last nights series I heard this line, "I'am determined to be better today than I was yesterday". What can I say but that's enough motivation for next week...

This Week in Copiers Ten Years Ago Week of Last Week of April 2014 Real Copier Sales (10 Years Ago) Sometimes, I wonder if companies conduct an internal contest to see who is the rudest person in the company. This Copier Changed My Sales Life 15 Years Ago this Week!

Art Post ·
It's late on Friday night, and for most, their work is over for the week. For me, I need to do updates, and frankly, I've been lagging in my blogging lately. It's not because I don't want to write; it's mainly because nothing has triggered me to write. Nothing unusual in sales, nothing unusual in the field, and I've had my nose to the grindstone looking to hit numbers. Until tonight, when I needed to post my series, "This Week in the Copier Industry 15 Years Ago this Week." The nice thing...
