Re: Sharp has Serious Money Problems!

Art Post (Guest) ·
P4p'ers Recently I've read a few articles from the likes of Industry Analysts and This Week in Imaging and both have downplayed the Sharp debt crisis. I know that The Week in Imaging has Sharp as a sponsor and I also believe that Industry Analysts has something going also. Even though some of the reports from Sharp have been better as of late. The recent money from Samsung and Qualcomm which total 230 million dollars is chump change when compared to the $2.1 billion convertible bond that is...

80/20 and the ABCs

Art Post ·
80/20 and the ABCs By David Thorne, Nov 22, 2016 9:39:41 AM A few simple ideas to help you have a productive day: Focus, Prepare, and Prioritize. Most people are familiar with the 80/20 Rule – also known as the Pareto Principle. Example, you typically wear 20% of the clothes in your closet 80% of the time. Well, I recently had experience with this earlier this year while getting ready to put our house on the market. Our real estate agent suggested that we get a storage unit and start to hide...

Xerox and their single click Ledger

jswinberlin ·
Xerox is at it again, pushing the fact that their machines only click once for 11 x 17. On a color system the savings can be huge. I plan to try and explain to the customer that it is just common sense that copying/printing something that is twice as...

Re: Copier Dealers in the US

fisher ·
I should add that a big reason for the growth of the mid sized dealership I've been at for the past 25 years is due to the failings of the acquisition model and the direct manufacturer model beginning with Icon acquiring our #1 local competitor back in the mid 90s. Icon took away our #1 competitor then dropped the ball on the customer service resulting in us gobbling up a large number of accounts within 2 years. The same thing happened when Global absorbed another competitor although Global...

Become an Independent Agent for Color Label Presses

Art Post ·
Come and listen about salesperson named Ted A grizzled veteran that always kept his family fed, The one day he was shopping for some food, And into his eyes he saw the glimmering light. Label press that is, color labels presses, high margins Just a little take off from the Beverly Hillbillies lyrics and many of us remember that Jed was out hunting for some food, missed the shot but hit the mark because the bubbling crude spouted from the ground. On June 7th at 4PM EST David Clearman...

Mastering Serverless Data Warehousing in AWS: A Comprehensive Deep Dive

John martech ·
Data warehouses have an older design, which becomes stifling in a world where information and data escalate at an exponential pace. Just try to picture hundreds of hours dedicated to managing infrastructure, fine-tuning the clusters to address the workload variance, and dealing with significant upfront costs before you get a chance to analyze the data. Unfortunately, this is the best that one can expect out of traditional data warehousing methodologies. For data architects, engineers, and...

Art, First great year, month and quarter! Even after your time in industry it always has to feel good to close out as strongly as you did! I'm a sales manager and have been using your twelve days of selling emails as an example for my sales team. In particular a new rep who's been selling for less than a year really loves these emails. I also have a rep on my team that's been in industry close to 30 years and these emails have helped reinvigorate him. Essentially your emails are the same...
