Thankfully the customer very much wants to do business with us that they are goin to option B buy the Savin 2560 for everyone's use but buy an HP 45ppm printer for the person who needs to print from this software. Desired ending but would still like to find a solution. Thanks, Scott

By the way the recommended volumes are incresed on the 2090 and 2105. There have been many mechanical changes to make the equipment more reliable at higher volumes. Scott

In this situation, do not match the price of the web site. As mentioned, create pain in the customers mind as to the reason they should pay more to get the service your company provides. Ask the prospect what they will do when the equipment they purchase from the web breaks? You know it will happen but nobody knows when. The service your company offers is worth the difference in price. Scott

Thanks for the information. The purpose behind my inquiry was to get feedback from those that have the SR85 installed. We have one and have had such experiences that the ownership doesn't want to sell the new SR90 and I have an opportunity to place to 90's with 1 having the SR90. Thanks, Scott

Pete Maimone (Guest) ·
Scott, What specifically is their application? Remember, the 2035/45, 1224/32, the 2090/2105, and 1060/75 all come with scan to e-mail out of the box. If they are sending to less than 2000 destinations, and don't require authentication. You're good to go out of the box. I'm told there is a way to create a csv? file form you e-mail address book and upload to the copier via smartnet monitor. If they require authentication or direct access to mailserver then you add Global Scan. Pete M.

This means you must continuously learn about the technology that you build solutions around. And that technology changes at least a little with each new product that is released into the field. Then you must know the pros and cons of your product as it relates to your competition. Then you must take that knowledge and learn the skill to...

Try turnig off jam detection. That will eliminate any sensors. Try running through the bypass, that will eliminate feed clutches. Be sure reassembly was done properly, look for pinched wires or guides out of position, also that the clutch stopper is seatted properly. If there was not a jamming problem before the clutch was changed the problem was probably tech induced, which can sometimes be the hardest to figure out. Good luck scott

FWIW, we haven't been a pandealer for many years now, and can still order parts, anything we want.. . . from MSC. What is MSC? I just got off the phone with Scott, my (former) sales rep. Apparently Panasonic cut 15,000 jobs nationwide (last day is end of February), and dumped all but the top handful of dealers. Those employees who lost their jobs can re-apply, but the "new" positions will be far fewer. Here's what I know so far: -If you have an existing Parts account, you'll keep it. Whew.

If you were unsuccessful where you are, but are unhappy with the company or the product, then moving should not be a problem. But if you were successful, and happy, and only the money was the inducement to move, then I suggest you have a good chat to your current dealer/manager before jumping ship, as "the grass is never greener" in most case. And if that turns out to be the case, then you will very quickly become dissatisfied and move on once again which could easily become the descent into...
