Hey Art, I thought the same thing when I saw the note about the tri-color PCU. It reminds me of the days when we were selling the Savin 9918DP (Aficio 180) with the AIO cartridge. The manufacturer yield was 12,000 pages, but (real world) the customer was getting about 8,000 pages. I shall answer my own question. Yes and No. The Ricoh TYpe 185 will not fit the Savin 9918dp without modification. There are four tabs protruding from the side of the cartridge that is inserted into the machine. These tabs are staggered differently between the Savin and Ricoh models. However, two of the four tabs are common and one of them goes into the hole that has the switch for sensing the cartridge. Does anybody know if the Ricoh all-in-one for the Aficio 180 will work in the Savin 9918dp? I think I did this before but can't remember ??? I don't want to send my customer the Ricoh cartridge if it won't work ... and I don't want to order a Savin...
