Re: Copier Parts & Accessories China Tariff Starts in 9 Working Days
All very good points. I'm guessing larger players might have more manufacturing site options. However, if their A3 are manufactured in say US and Korea but their A4 are largely China, there could be discrepency even within a single manufacturers ptoduct line. Another manufacturer could have the reverse.

Re: Samsung Says Offer for Sharp’s Photocopier Unit Rejected
Samsung has been looking for a way into the North american market going on 5 years now. they own 90% of the MFP/Printer market in Korea (Look it up). If Samsung gets the business from Sharp they will have a small but established infrastructure that will give them a foothold into North America. With all the doom and gloom out reports from the analysts these days its good to hear something new and exciting.

I agree with you on some points that his goals are admirable in wanting to cut wasteful spending. That's about it. In the future if he is elected, and he cuts the nuclear arsenal, cuts defense spending, brings all of our troops back to the US from around the world (which numbers around 500,000), says that we no longer will protect our allies (which means that US bases around the world will have to be closed). Does he honestly think that by telling the world we no longer will produce nuclear...

His company, a giant in personal computer and printing, said it would buy Samsung’s printer business for $1.05 billion. Weisler’s hope is that the deal would help HP hpq better compete in the copy machine market and help offset declining sales of printers. HP said Samsung’s printing business brought in $1.8 billion in sales for its fiscal 2015. This number is just a fraction of HP’s overall...

I contend that we need to dramatically decrease the size of the Federal Government. That does not mean that people who are in need should not have a saftey net. That saftey net should come from state government, local government and charities, not the Federal government. The most efficient way to help people is at the local level. Art, dig a little deeper in your research of the USPS and you'll find that they DO NOT receive taxpayer money. The only reason they are financially in trouble is because Congress in 2006 required them to PAY FORWARD 75 years worth of Retirement and Medical benefits for future retirees to the tune of $5.5 BILLION per year for the next ten years (ending in 2016). Now I ask are FedEx or UPS or your dealership's Principals ORDERED to pay forward future retiree benefits for 75 years?

That is versus earlier guidance of a 30 billion yen profit. This is especially disappointing because it was only last fiscal year that Sharp raised fresh equity and posted a narrow...
