Hey Art, Do you mean the Kyocera KM-2250 (pre-Taskalfa brand), if so it launched October 12, 2004. - Jake

I'm not sure, I questioned someone about the model number an assumed it was a taskalpha, but it may be the system you mentioned. I need to call them back or stop in. Thanx for the info

There is the tasklfa 2550ci which is discontinued, or the taskalfa 2551ci. 2550ci doesn't have dsdp capability. 2551ci is much more versatile. There some other cool features.

Yes it is the 2551ci. It's a little smaller frame than the faster TaskAlfa's with a good price point. Fits the "I don't do a lot of color" but would like to have it" prospect.

Some interesting details: dealers only order the 2554ci engines. The 3554ci is upgradeable via a 35ppm speed license (I think this is only available at initial installation as the models use different toner cartridges). I'm guessing they'll be following this same price model for the rest of their lineup as they roll out this Spring.

The 3051ci was introduced Q3 2013 and discontinued and replaced by the CS 3552ci in Q3 2016. By the way, I typically search the model at precisionroller.com to learn about the introduction date, MSRP, consumable yields, etc.. It might not always be 100% accurate, but I trust its a good estimate at the very least.

Thanx @Monte and @Kevin Foley . One client just looked up a device on amazon and came across that Kyocera box. My client that is was new for $2,400 and in addition they had not clue it was used and nothing was included but shipping the device. You info helped me out especially with the age of the device!
