We bought one of the C300 when they were clearing them out and imagine my surprise to learn we also had to put toner in it! All the other printer based models come with starter cartridges. Anyway, the toner cost more than the fricken machine!!

Looked for the brochures and could not find anything out there but drivers..anyone have anything...pricing?...service pricing?

They have launched in Europe. Let me check

I was surprised to say the least. I knew there was a 40 page per minute color A4 (letter & legal size paper) due soon, but, I thought it might be an entirely new clean sheet design since the older MP C300 & MP C400 were never big movers for us. As I reviewed the specs of the new MP C401 I realized that not much has changed at least feature wise since the MP C300/400. It's been a couple of weeks since these new color IM C A4 MFPs were launched the Ricoh Europe web site. At this point in time I have no clue when they'll be available in the United States. I would suspect they'll be available as soon as the current inventory of MP C307s and 407s are exhausted. For me, they can't come soon enough. For too long we've been without a color A4 devices that will staple. I had hoped that both the C300 and C400 would be capable of stapling, however at this point...

Again why would they not have put a 500 sheet paper feed drawer on the new device? Every other manufacturer with their A 4 device comes standard with the 500 sheet. Someone needs to tell Ricoh that a ream of paper is 500 sheets!! Rant over.

Are these Kyocera's too?

@jredmon My bad I had a typo, the IM C400SRF comes standard with a 550 Sheet paper tray. I changed it for everyone, however you are correct the IM C 300 (F) should come with a standard 550 sheet paper tray.

They do look like Ricoh, especially with the document feeder. I'm not 100% sure, but if I was asked to bet, I would put my bet that they are Ricoh manufactured

Other than physical size the only reason to buy an A4 MFP is price, ideally with a low cpc. To cut costs Ricoh should have went with an SSD and a 9" LCD. Do you really need stapling? Fax should be integrated into the motherboard. Very few customers scan to SD card.

This model would replace the MPC401 and 401SR......remember those? They are still in the lineup even though the model is over 4 years old.

Looking at pictures found on the web I am almost positive this is a rehash of the MPC401.

Was able to get the PSG from esource and it says they launch Jan 2020 and the are updated 307 & 407 not Kyoceras.

I think I'm the only one at my company who has sold the IMC530. I think I've sold four of them. Its over-priced but otherwise a good machine. I do not bother with the IMC300 because its priced too close to the IMC400. I've sold a bunch of the IMC400 machines.

For the record, Gap Intelligence did send me the $100 for doing the survey.
