Art, I think Samsung needed to do this test to shut the mouths of the critics. Now anyone who wonders or asks if the Samsungs are reliable will get a link to this test. My Service guys tell me that the Samsungs have been working well! And the new MX series with the Android (OS) Tablet has been very cool. That wish list item that you asked Ricoh for has already been delivered by Samsung! I have just worked with a 3rd party tech company to get the first non-Samsung Android App ported to the...

They were not happy that I pointed out that they used "x" amount of tree's for a 1980's type test! Since Samsung spends money with ENX, ENX pulled the blogs and is not posting any of my latest stuff. So some clarification first. PaperCut absolutely does support Mac. In fact, it is the only cost recovery/print control solution that I know of that actually installs in an all Mac environment. (Server and Client) It also is the only solution I know of that installs in a Linux environment. So both of your issues are solved with PaperCut. I included the install guides for Mac and Linux to get you started.

Wow. No poll answer regarding the rep’s activity…interesting. Over the years I have learned that if you work hard and SMART, you’ll hit your numbers. I also think that there is a condition that affects a lot of sales reps in virtually all industries. It is a type of an iron deficiency disorder. Re: Green not printing correctly on Ricoh MPC4500

VinceMcHugh ·
John, There is a simple test to figure out if it is the MFD or the Print driver. Put an original on the glass and make a copy of an original that has the correct color green. If it copies OK the copier is OK, and you need to focus on the print controller or print driver. If it copies and the green is bad on the copy then focus on the Copier. If the copier is off on the color you won't get it right on the driver. You need a break fix tech to adjust or fix the copier. as a side note remember...

Art....the answer is most likely. Most Dell towers have a proprietary PSU and will only fit the Dell case. If you know how to open the tower and look at the PSU there will be a model number on it. Type that into google and see where you can find one. If it is a true Dell system then you can also look it up by the model number. Are you sure it is the power supply and not the MB or something else. Do you know how to test is it is the PSU? Just because a tower does not turn on does not mean it...

Check the firewall settings on the 2008 Server. Sometimes an update will reset them. If the 2008 Server sits on their LAN with a hardware firewall between it and the internet, then you could turn OFF the firewall as a test and see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't then its not the firewall, and if it does you could open up the SMB ports and test scanning to folder again.

Please provide more info to better help you. The best way to know for sure is get a card and test it. Good job! If they are using MIFARE cards you should be good to go. Just make sure you get a sample to test. Remember just because it reads the card does not mean it will track for bill back purposes. That is where a software solution comes in. I forgot to ask what Canon model are you considering? Make sure it is an advance series. Do you have access to Canon ISG Central? They is an entire presentation on AAProx that you should definitely know the in's and out's BEFORE you meet with the GM.

While it's properties can cause rubber to break down over time, I've used it for years on the exterior auto trim (black) and tires to get that wet look. People say it's a "not safe" use but I've had absolutely no trouble. Also good to rub down weathered paint on outdoor furniture and other painted surfaces (test first).

It's either this solution for the customer for about $5K with all of the paper trays for the C431dn or a solution from PB (inkjet and loud) for about $14K. We did a run of 2,500 envelopes with an MS word merge for addressing. We finished the job in 75 minutes with no wrinkles, we did have several misfeeds, however I'm blaming that on me not knowing how many envelopes to put in each tray. We not able to fit and entire box pf 500 however we were able to fit about 250-300 at a time.
