There is friction feed with air separation on all the current production machines. So they have rollers that actually feed the paper and there are fans that blow the paper apart to help prevent multifeeding and it also helps if the paper sticks together and won't pull out of the tray.

I was just discussing this with someone the other day who came to work for me from Toshiba. i told him it was difficult to find a while lot of info on this subject and he told me he thought Toshiba had dumped a while lot of money into making this go away.

Apple Air Print Issue
Has anyone else seen this? Printing to a Ricoh 04 series device. I bring up the image on an ipad ( I also test my iPhone ), I go to the print center bar and then select air print. Air print then shows a preview of the photo or screen capture. The image is printed and one side of the image is cropped or not there. Could not figure out what was going on.
