Web Print Tool on MP W6700SP HELP!
Below is an email from one of my clients. My service department is telling me this is a limitation of the WEB PRINT TOOL. Can anyone help! Gents, We ran in to another issue last week. Using the web printing tool, we send a set of PDFs to the plotter set to print at 1/2 size. We changed the settings per below. The full size set was 42”x30”. The actual drawings printed ½ size, but the sheet cut at the original sheet size of 42”x30” still making for significant waste. The old plotter...

If it does not have to be epson, you can get HP MFP from Wynit or Azon. Canon MFP from Paradigm.

Ten Copier & MFP Proposals for March 2015
Thanks to the help from a few Print4Pay Hotel members, we're able to give our members access to some of the copier & MFP quotes that were presented in March of 2015. I had a great chuckle at some of the Sharp proposals. One, was the base quarterly charge of $30 per quarter for 3,000 pages. Overages were then billed at .01 for black. It's like WTF? It's only $120 for the year, just bill the annual cost!!You'll save the customer money and time...

Jersey Shore Electric Contractor Lease Ricoh CW 2201SP Color Plotter
Sometimes it’s that one little feature that makes the difference from leasing a Ricoh CW 2201SP or an Oce/Canon wide format. For our Jersey Electric Contractor it was the TWAIN scanning feature that drove their decision to lease the Ricoh CW2201SP. TWAIN TWAIN scanning is also known as ‘pull scanning”. Pull scanning means that your software program has the ability to use a TWAIN scan driver. With our Electrical Contractor they have the ability to use a TWAIN scan driver with their business...

COVID19 "Remote Working" Day Seventy Four of Sales
Well another blog I did't think I was going to write this evening. Late in day I was able to catch a news interview with our Governor. This is the same Governor that shut down indoor dining the day before it was scheduled to open yesterday. He puts the blame on other states that are seeing infections increasing because those states have opened indoor dining. Thus he elected to shut it down. He also based the decision on activities from the last weekend where many bars were packed and peeps...

5 Ways to Reduce Damp Paper in your Plotter
Plotters and Wide Format Printers With summer brings the awful heat and humidity to New Jersey along with damp paper issues for plotters. Damp paper will cause print and copy quality issues because the toner and or ink doesn’t adhere to damp paper well. One of the ways to tell if the paper is damp is that the print of copy looks muddled or not a fully formed image. Our technicians refer to the issue as “blotching of the image”. Extreme high and low humidity can cause print & copy quality...

COVID19 "Remote Working" Day Eighty-Six of Sales
Today was one of the most interesting days I've had in quite some time. Let's start off with a BANG! I was able to connect with my net new prospect for a meeting in the AM. This is the net new account for about $30K, this is account that I've lost twice and working a third time around. Good news is that with a blind sampling of print quality my Ricoh device was picked as best quality 5 out of 5 times. Competitors were Sharp and Canon on this one. In a previous blog I spoke my travels to one...

Email for Laser wide format vs inkjet wide format
Below is the email I send to the client this AM. Thoughts what can be added or taken away? Client Thank you, please let le me know if you have any questions. Laser is so much better for a predictable cost over ink jet devices. Points are below Inkjet printers like Canon Ink ProGraph, HP Plotters (all), and Epson plotters, most maintenance agreements do not include the following Print heads (some can be very costly) Ink, in addition if one color runs out the device will no print.
