Slight correction...both the IM 430F and the IM 430Fb are 43 ppm. Additional info...the 430F (SP 501) has a Service Maintenance platform while the 430Fb (SP 502) has a User Maintenance platform. The SP 510 and SP 502 are printer only versions of their respective MFP's. As far as I know, the SP's and the IM 350 (350F without a standard fax) have not been launched yet. It is interesting to note that the service training does not reference the MP 301SPF or the MP 402SPF at all. The new IM units...

Art, once the app is downloaded, how do you get login information. Is this a software as a service? Is there a monthly fee? Thanks!

Ten Reasons Why the New Ricoh IM 350F, IM 430F and IM 430Fb is a Winner

It's been sometime since Ricoh introduced the MP 301 (A4 black MFP 30ppm). Five years is a long time to hang on to a model, especially when A4 devices are being introduced left & right. There's a new kid on the block of A4 devices. Ricoh is now offering the IM 350f (37ppm), IM 430F (43 ppm), and the IM 430fb (45ppm). All devices come standard with copy, print, fax and color scan. Anyone can get the speeds and feeds on these devices, but I wanted to dig a little deeper and express what I...

High-speed Single pass feeders at least as an option on the C306 and up. Up to date competitive info on InfoCenter. Legal size glass and fast SPDF on A4 products. Color printers/MFPs below the C440 with a reasonable CPP. A Production system that fits between the C5100 & C7100. More League points for A4 & printers (especially color) because of the increased supplies revenue potential. Full finishing on A4 products Adjustable Tray 1 on color systems below the C6502 Unified messaging...

In advance of our Print Analyze App (smart phones & tablets) that is scheduled for February 9th & February 15th , I asked Jean Francois LE BRIZE to provide me with the same story that he told me at my first webinar a few months ago. Below is the blog from Jean: Thereis not a lot of software aimed at the salesman in the Imaging business. Among them, PrintAnalyze Full. PrintAnalyze Full is a cloud solution: the Salesman can perform audits, retrieve meters, calculate a...

To Ricoh "What I Want for Christmas" 2015

Art Post ·
Every year, I like to put some interesting tidbit about Christmas from other Countries around the world. Christmas in Russia: During the communist years St. Nicholas was transformed into Grandfather Frost. Other religious traditions were suppressed during the communist era. Before the revolution, a figure called Babouschka would bring gifts for the children. Like Italy's La Befana, the story is that Babouschka failed to give food and shelter to the three wise men during their journey to...

I always like to give a little back ground about about the previous models and one important note is that Ricoh has decided to not offer non networked version of the MP 2553/3053 and the 3353.   With the previous "52" series you were able to...

Ricoh - IM C300(F) & IM C400(SR)F Spec Check Review

Art Post ·
It's been a couple of weeks since these new color IM C A4 MFPs were launched the Ricoh Europe web site. At this point in time I have no clue when they'll be available in the United States. I would suspect they'll be available as soon as the current inventory of MP C307s and 407s are exhausted. For me, they can't come soon enough. For too long we've been without a color A4 devices that will staple. I had hoped that both the C300 and C400 would be capable of stapling, however at this point...

Again why would they not have put a 500 sheet paper feed drawer on the new device? Every other manufacturer with their A 4 device comes standard with the 500 sheet. Someone needs to tell Ricoh that a ream of paper is 500 sheets!! Rant over.

@jredmon My bad I had a typo, the IM C400SRF comes standard with a 550 Sheet paper tray. I changed it for everyone, however you are correct the IM C 300 (F) should come with a standard 550 sheet paper tray.

They do look like Ricoh, especially with the document feeder. I'm not 100% sure, but if I was asked to bet, I would put my bet that they are Ricoh manufactured

Other than physical size the only reason to buy an A4 MFP is price, ideally with a low cpc. To cut costs Ricoh should have went with an SSD and a 9" LCD. Do you really need stapling? Fax should be integrated into the motherboard. Very few customers scan to SD card.
