At 5 bucks a month and no minimums that seems to be a good offer if you only want to monitor a few wide formats, right? But if you have a fleet of 500? That's $2,500 per month. I understand that not every client will want the monitoring. I'm out in the street every day, and probably the biggest complaint I get from clients is that they can't have more than one toner of each color on hand, I hear this from net new prospects also. This is a good fit for wide format market place, and I can see...

John and I found a few items today about ink. One cartridge size is 400ML @a cost of $148. Thus the cost per each ML is .37. The yield of the print head is 15 liters/12 months I think, I stated that because there is a raised 2 next to the 15 liters. Not sure, can anyone clarify?

Im told a new Wide Format from Ricoh is coming but who knows. Their pricing is not really competitive in my opinion. Oce is not really interested in signing new dealers based on the conversation I had with them. They also said to sign up we would have to have a $100,000.00 initial order. I looked at KIP as well and they wanted 2 units purchased which wasn't bad but at the time we weren't selling much wide format. Now we are placing about 1 or 2 a month on average so we may look at it again...

Nice! I would like to contribute a few of my own predictions as well: Xerox will sell its MFP division to focus entirely on production equipment and business services. Toshiba Tec will not sell nor merge with Sharp. Toshiba is too much of a powerhouse in North America alone. Konica Minolta will continue opening up direct branches due to the rapid growth of their brand. These branches will quickly fall apart when they realize that the dealer model is more profitable. Samsung will start...

Sorry for being the bearer of gloom & doom, but I think Czech is either being either overly-optimistic or things in the Great White North are just different than in the Southwest USA. Here are my predictions: Lease volume trends based on UCC filings from EDA show that 2015 placements have fallen by over 13,600 since 2013 (almost 10%) & are now at levels nearly equal to 2009 & 2010.
