A proposal written on in a "word" document or a piece of paper is worthless. Have the customer get everything in writing on a sales contract and or lease.
Once you read the fine print, you will see that there are safe guards that are put in place for toner yields on cost per page, along additional money to connect additional pc's and in my area they have a fuel surcharge.
Ask the your chiropractor if he would like to pay more now or later. Because it will be later.
I fight the same battles here in NJ, and all I ask of the customer is that they show me a written contract, from there I can consult with the customer over the fine print in the document.
