This is such an exciting product, due to the new master technology. Can't wait for it to filter up to the new HQ series in 400 & 600 DPI. My information tells me that when this happens, Ricoh will choose to market these products not as resolution based but quality based (like Riso has been doing). For example, low end would be good quailty, followed by better quality up to maybe best quality, or something like that. Attached is the PSG for the 4500, which has a great explanation of the new master and how it affects quality. Notice the run length guarantee on the new master and the ink yield @ 100 copies per original. Enjoy.
