I’ll play devils advocate here. Ricoh printers are already available online from many places. If Ricoh ever wants to get significant market share in printers they will have to open distribution. The RFG dealer network will not get the market share needed. But in the long run I think this will help us. How you ask???? The current Ricoh printer line is very strong. Printer sales are a component in our strategy of controlling our market. The payoff may not be a high profit margin immediately, but there are many other good reasons for placing a printer. We sell printers 1) for the future toner sales and 2) more importantly, to position ourselves as the client's supplier of ALL their office equipment. My rule #1 when I was selling copiers: I started by Asking the Right Questions AND Completing a Document Management Questionnaire. The copier and MFP has a competitive advantage over other devices, however, technology itself does not sell as effectively as a solution. I keep the discussion focused on the solution of electronic filing, its quantifiable benefits, and how the customer could use it in their office environment. By focusing on a user’s problem and solution I found it be much simpler

I would let a rep "choose a method" in which they most feel comfortable. For example: Section 1) Selling by Industry: Add the top 10 vertical markets that apply to black and color and HV. Section 2) Selling by financial justification: Create a section that shows how to sell based upon lowering TCO through equpipment upgrades, lease options, and the reduction of desktop printers. what Ricoh did and how it stacked up in the marketplace, and they were not prepared to take what they saw as a risk. The Ricoh name needs to be made far more visible - at least over here - and moves like this can only help that goal. The bottom line is of course that we try to sell solutions rather than printers, and that has got to remain the focus of our work. It will become a little easier if customers know the product line - and know they can trust and respect it.

Does anyone have a printer client using t shirt transfer film in the b2c products? I have a print shop client that needs to do approx. 500 per month of these and that will be 95% of the total usage on the unit. Ricoh has not added transfer film to its recommended paper product lists. I am willing to recommend a competitive product to this client if anyone knows of a unit that can run this successfully.

I'd have to agree with Rule# 1: Never Stop Prospecting Solution selling and product knowledge are very important. But, can only come in second to the need to have a burning desire to succeed and the discipline to make the required number of contacts.

Well, it was nice for a few months anyway. Its not holding up. Customer bought for the thick stock capability and it worked great for a while, then the toner began rubbing off of the 110 lb index (within specs), customer tried a thinner stock. Ricoh had us turn up the fuser temp ... it was marginally better for a week, then it got the the point that the toner was not even bonding to standard 20lb bond paper! Ricoh sent us a nice new fuser kit, still no good. Has anybody else had a problem

not bonding to 20 lb stock? If youre not a tech, you need one. This one is going to be too obvious. I see you got a new fuser unit. You're using Ricoh supplies? are the symptoms consistant? That is, happening all the time? If not it could be damp paper. Using damp paper means the heat of the fuser is used to dry out the paper instead of melting the toner. As I said this has to be something obvious.

The drum seems fine, the image transfers fine, it wouldn't seem to be a pre-fusing image problem, unless it was a bad batch of toner. Corporate is taking over, I'll inform you of the results. Yes, it is OEM toner. A trained tech is working on it and has been in contact continuously with Ricoh on this.

Shaja...great point...and it's exactly that difference that will put you lightyears ahead of the competition. If you are providing a total solution for your customer then you are just the same ole box salesman that so many have been over the years and that simply won't get it in today's marketplace.

I agree with all the tips, I believe in never sit back and wait for deals to fall into your lap!! I feel that without excellent product knowledge you are wasting your time, speaking to the correct person and asking him/her the questions that will determine their specific needs. A lot of reps "drop boxes", those days are long gone, solution selling is the key to success. I agree with one statement, sell the first device at almost cost, build a relationship and give GREAT service, believe me

In San Diego we have Konica/Minolta going in @ $.07 an image even on their low end C250 units and Canon and Xerox are charging $.08 per image but they are including 11 x 17 as a single click. We try to charge $.085 for color and $.014 for black but generally we end up matching one of our competitors quotes.

Printing Envelopes with Aficio 2027sp

Has anyone been able to print envelopes from the bypass tray with the Aficio 2022/2027sp? A customer is using the bypass tray to print #10 size envelopes from WordPerfect. When the bypass tray is selected from the application, the display pops up with "check paper size". I have selected the envelope settings in User Tools, and Printer Properties, but the only way to get the envelope to print is by opening the print properties on the display, and manually telling it to print. We just had our launch of the new high volume color boxes two weeks ago (the Savin side must be a little slower than the Ricoh side). We were told (and the Savin pricebook confirms) that both models can be ordered with either the GW controller or E7000 Fiery. The reason that the GW controller is listed as an option is so that if anyone would want to eliminate a Fiery option (not sure why they would) after ordering the Savin C6045E7000...yes that's the product name according to the price book

No - the 3260 comes standard with a GW controller from Ricoh only - Fiery is not an option toinstall on this model. In our case, we had one we placed in June that didn't ship until mid-September. THEN it shipped to an Ikon dealer 2 1/2 hours away from us. Ikon shipped it to us, and it was damaged when we received it. When Ricoh shipped it again, it went to a different Ikon location (again, 2 1/2 hours away from us). We went and picked it up this time. Our DMAP orders are shipping everywhere but to us -- Including one to Texas in mid-September (we still haven't seen that one). We have stopped ordering DMAP

Was wondering if any one has seen this.I have a customer with a 6513 while printing or copying the images come ou partially missing the black.When it does this there is a definite black line front to back on the page and the rest of the image has the black missing.If running just black copies when it happens the rest of the page will be blank.Any help would be greately appreciated.

I have a JP 5500 that keeps asking for ink. Ricoh told me to clear the memory. That worked for a little while. After running copies it goes back to no ink. I have replace all parts inside of the drum. Also I replace the ink detection board. Thanks for the help

Also, don't forget, the Canon 6800 is 68B&W/ 16 Color . The Ricoh is 60B&W/45 Color. The Canon is "convienience" color like the old 1224/1232 and the new 3224C. It is made to do no more than 30% color against 70% B&W. the 3260C can be just a color copier if you want it to be. Not the 30% color stuff.

Is Ricoh resting on thier laurels for the 2090 and the 2105? These unit are fast approaching the year year mark since they were introduced. I spoke to the HV product manager almost a month ago and he said that there is nothing on the horizon for 6 months (I don't think he'd give me the right info as he does not care for the P4P Hotel). Has anyone heard of a new HV being Beta tested? Art

It's not related to the Ricoh or Plotbase software. Must be an internal setting since the same problem occurs when printing to an HP printer.

John, For basic printing you can use the HP 4L cups driver. Mac OS 10 runs on Darwin which is unix. The cups drivers work great for basic printing. If you need duplexing then you would have to add PS option. The only reason PS is need is because Ricoh does not write a Cups driver for the machines. I have 3 offices I use the 1515MF's in and none have the PS option and I normally print to them using my G4 Power Book and have never had an issue using the cups driver except no duplexing. Let me

I just got a new laptop which has McAfee Security Center on it. I downloaded SDM for Client and some of the features don't work. when I am setting up Ricoh printers and it searches, it never pulls the list of printers up. What do I need to configure in both the SP Firewall settings and McAfee settings to allow this basic feature of SDM for CLient to work? Just in the last two weeks we have had one ship-out where the ARDF and Cabinet went straight to the end-user. On another order, the customer agreed to pay express charges to get it here as quickly as possible. Ricoh doesn't seem to know the meaning of express ship because it didn't happen. We tracked the order all the way to our door with a tracking number that ended up not having the machine as part of the shipment and when the machine did finally get here, it wasn't the S/P we ordered, only

That problem could be caused by a incorrect WINS server setting. Find out if there is a WINS server on the network your trying to connect. If so be sure to enter the IP adress (of the WINS Server) in the network settings menu in the copier. Without the proper information the copier will not be able to resolve the computer names on the network. Slim463

As a sales manager, and in order to be competitive, I believe I should be able to write orders at tne National BEI rate, and force service to adjust either parts usage, or effeciency, to maintain profitability. He said he's using OS 9 for client, Plotbase server must be XP or 2000 pro. First, how are you setting up the printer? I have not read the directions for Mac install, but I assume you would use "Desktop Printer Utility" to setup an LPR printer. The IP address is the IP of the machine, the Queue is the exact share name of the printer. Let me know what isn't working and perhaps I can help.

As far as the shrinking, that is usually an application problem. Windows image viewer and Adobe Acrobat both shrink apges by default. Make sure your application is set to print the image at 100%. You can usually tell if something is at 100% because it will run off the right side of the page. Remember that the SCAN is 8.5x11 but the PRINTABLE AREA is a bit smaller due to page margins, etc.

This machine is so bad that most of the Xerox dealers in the country have elected not to sell it. The system was designed by Fuji Xerox as a six copy and nine copy per minute solution. My customer wants actual proof that the driver will work on 10.4. Ricoh has told him that it will work with version 10.X, but you know some people want proof that it will work with a specific version. Ted, How many lines are handling this volume? Your cost of operation would be very high on the 5510's. You might consider a bank of 1515F's to handle the job. The 2035,2045 wouldnt really help with the volume other than cost of operation, of which the acquisition cost would probably offset a lot of the savings. Just my two cents. Good Luck.

the 2045SP and he keeps it for another 31 months, then I am going to propose an AP900 printer with a Zetafax fax server software solution. We will install a new server that will serve as the fax server ($600) w/Zetafax software, cost for 5 users $695 less 30%, Zeta fax dual modem card $550 less 30%. Zetafax will do things: (A). Just got pricing for the new 3025/3030 and the 3035/3045. On average the pricing appears to be slightly lower but niot enough to matter much. I was surprised to learn that with the 3025/3030 series, there is P and S/P versions so we are back to having to replace the Print DIMM with a Print/Scan DIMM to upgrade. We also now have SPi versions that come from the factory with DocumentMall and 500MB of storage for 3 years.

If your VP of Op's is saying no, these may be the reasons. 1.) Your company is using Ricoh OEM parts and replacing parts when they should be replaced. 2.) Your management is not in tune with the industry and they have to understand that clicks drive profits. Your competitor maybe using generic parts, not replacing parts when scheduled an probably ignoring minor parts replacement and repair and suppling poor service response times. Who is BEI? BEI is actually BEI Services which stands for Business Equipment Information Services. They can provide benchmarks for any copier ever made. They can give you a complete analysis of your machine performance, parts usage, CPC vs other dealers servicing the same products. I have a customer whose inbound fax volume has increased to 1,300 pages per day, 7 days/week for a total of 39,000 pages per month. What is the MMV on the Fax5510? Or what would you recommend? I am putting a 2060SP in the same area to handle the 60K/mo. copy/print volume. I feel stupid proposing a 2035e/2045e with fax option just for faxes. But if that is what I need to do, I will. We had this product launched a week ago and were told that the 3260C came standard with printing and scanning. Our pricing noted otherwise so they called the product mgr and they were told that it was an option. This is probably a better question for Ricoh Tech support. The PS3 version isn't the issue I think, simply the OSX driver. Has the customer tried it and not gotten it to work? On a mac, the "driver" doesn't generate the Postscript code, the operating system does. The "driver" we supply simply tells the mac how to speak to the printer and about what optioons are available. be the setup in your copiers SMB settings. Have you set the correct domain/workgroup name in the copier? Such as WORKGROUP, or MSHOME? Please note if on a domain you leave the ".com" part out when entering it the SMB workgroup name. When the correct workgroup name is entered. You should be able to BROWSE the network via the copier. Also check if the IP settings. You need DNS, WINS, SUBNET, and GATEWAY. Without one of these they can limit your ability to scan to folder or even browse. Can you do

There is a way to reset the Key Operator Code. You have to enter the Tech Service Mode of the Copier and go to Sp Mode 7810. This code is called Key Operator Code Clear. You can execute this code- it will erase any key op code. Then exit Service mode. You will now be able to enter the User Tools with any restrictions. Please note you will need to reapply a Key Op Code again to secure it.(With one you can remember) I will attach a page from the Service manual that explains this code. Slim463

Help! I have an AP3800c that I screwed up and did a memory clear on it. Now I have to reprogram sp2-109-2 & 3 and sp2994-1 thru 4 Problem is, I can't find the stickers on the laser optics housing with the values I need. I've pulled the output tray and I can see the top and most of the sides but I can not find the stickers like are described in the manual. You only need to post in one Forum. The 20mb spool file you see, that is at the customer's site with their file? If you make your own file around the same size, does it print as slow? I have seen 1 inch x 1 inch .jpg's turn out to be 11x17 files squeezed down fit where the customer wants it in powerpoint. If it is just one document, you can try eliminating some graphics to see if a particular one is causing a problem. Print half the file, if the print speed is half of what it was before, print

I know I saw Bate Stamping in the specs of a scanning solution software but I've looked at so many, I can't remember which one. Try looking at Doculex and others unless you are looking for something alot cheaper. If you do an internet search you get some hits also. Yes, I can access the folder from workstations and create a file in the folder and delete it. There is not a workgroup, it is a domain. The domain has .local after it and is entered correctly under smb settings. I can browse the network from the copier, but when I try to go into the "Server" where the share folder is located, it tells me that the password is invalid. But the user and password were created and given rights by the administrator. The only thing that I can see from your description

My guess woudl be you have insufficient airflow around the process area. Make sure the machine is PM'd and all the filters are clean. Are you using genuine consumables?? Old dev or drum will cause process control to overdrive and could therefore apply too much charge, in term blowing the main charge.

If they you running osx 10.3 or later, you can use one of the Macs modems as a fax server and share it across the network. Just run a phone line to the modem and you done. The 2 machines are identical except for speed and neither comes standard with a print controller. The reason for the 2 different machines is purely marketing. the 3260 is targeted at B/C market and the 5560 is for production color. If you look at the brochures you will notice the 3260 brochure is set-up like the other 32XX boxes and does not mention the fiery. But the 5560 Brochure looks like the 6513 brochure and only mentions the fiery. In reality either controller will work in either machine.

I use Linux a LOT.. I have it installed on around a dozen or so machines here. I have an AP3800c (and a number of other laserjets) on my lan and any pc can print directly to it. But, if I so desire, say to spool a huge job or a lot of huge jobs I can print to the CUPS server running on one of my machines, CUPS will spool print jobs and route them to any printer I want. I can access the CUPS interface and have full and total control over all printers, can stop, start, restart, kill print jobs

From memory the laebls are on the Laser Diodes. Should be able to read them from the top. Line adjust though is a different subject, even if you have the correct figures entered for the lasers. Good luck.

2035e sp making spots

We have a new 2035e sp making spots. It usually happens after it sits unused for a few hours. After a few copies, it clears up. We've increased the fusing temperature (twice). This seems to provide a temporary fix, but after a few days, it starts back. It happens on print AND on copy. We have replaced the fusing unit, drum unit, developer, put a PM kit in, made laser adjustments, toned down the boldness. Any suggestions?

The other day I spoke to three different reps from three different dealerships, with myself that will make four. Why are we still waiting for upto six week for equipment? I'm in a very tough battle with Toshiba. I'm quoting a 2051 sp against an Estudio 520. Any advice? It's a state agency, and their state contract price is at least $800.00 below my COST - before I even add any markup. Not that I know of yet. Was it part of the Seri configuration? I knew they were developing that, but thought it was going to be a Seri hybrid - that is using a resin ink. Also, how many heads did it have? My information says that they might have up to 6 heads when all said and done. They are supposed to be replacing the 8500 with a unit that has the HQ master technology, with much greater functionality at the control panel. Any new news of that?

You only need to post in one Forum. The 20mb spool file you see, that is at the customer's site with their file? If you make your own file around the same size, does it print as slow? I have seen 1 inch x 1 inch .jpg's turn out to be 11x17 files squeezed down fit where the customer wants it in powerpoint. If it is just one document, you can try eliminating some graphics to see if a particular one is causing a problem. Print half the file, if the print speed is half of what it was before, print

I'm up against Canon and IKON on a high volume account interested in multiple 2090/4090 machines. At a minimum of 850,000 pgs a month, can we sell service and supplies at $.0042 and make any money. BEI says yes. Our VP of Op's says no. What is anyone else doing ? The ir8500's are there... Thanks!

Hey Beachcopy, the first thing is, dont get excited! If replacing the grid solved it I would look at the top seal of the developer unit, if it is leaking it is blowing onto the grid. Another thing would be to use Ricoh supplies, if youre using an off brand toner, the particles may be doing the same thing. DEV FRONT SEAL A229-3091

I had the exact issue several years ago. The postings are correct it is a sun front end that supports only Xerox file format. First of all "pound home" to you customer that Xerox sold them a dead end with the intent to give the customer no way out. It's possible to get the customer so angry that you now have more money to work with. Secondly. I converted all the files to postscript and then to pdf. I did it manually but i'm sure that you can do it in a more automated fashion now. Check out

Spot on Art. Ricoh captured a lot of market share with the 240W, but had nothing to follow it up with. They need color scanning at the low end, real color scanning not a seperate add on color scanner. I think they also made a mistake moving away from the Ratio conrtoller. This controller gave added capabilities, printing and scanning, to more demanding users.

Ricoh's mid volume machines are the weak point for Ricoh. I work on Konica minolta and those are no picnic either. We use the BEI services compensation plan for our bonuses. The worst copier according to the BEI report is our 5645 Lanier model (Ricoh equivalent???). The only mid volume products that produce good revenue and reliability are the Bizhub c350/450 models.

I have a customer with a Ricoh 2232C and uses Mac OS 10.3 Operatins System. They can print fine from most applications but when printing from Quark Express 6.5 or Photoshop 7.0 or CS, it prints out dozens of pages of junk. Does anyone have a solution or experienced a similar problem. Ricoh does not seem to know.

I've sold one of these. It does work great. Accomodates heavy paper weight even when duplexing. No 11" x 17", but standard duplex and low cost per page. Here's the Savin brochure. Sold it for $1430, we sell all of our printers low and let them eat as much as they can in our market. We pummel HP with the savings once we get into an account and are in the process of putting new Savin units in all of our existing accounts using HP knowing that the word will spread and soon people will beat down

I believe there are four of these and we were having problems with these in the beginning with the Ricoh product line. If yours is the Savin, you may have received some older stock that did not have the mods.

I service the c450 and c350/351 KM models. The tech can adjust the machine for double click or single click for ledger. We set ours for double click on ledger. The customer usually never knows the difference. Only one problem account with this and that was at a graphics shop with heavy ledger usage. The c450 can print a ledger usage report that we adjust his billings for. Mr. Soprano

When our MFP has an error (paper type mismatch) until that error is cleared at the MFP it seems like no other print jobs can be printed from anyone, is that typical or do any of our competitors have products that can print other jobs even though 1 job has an error?

I would check with the blackberry Attachment Delivery Service from your provider. There are several limitations on PDF's. http://www.blackberry.com/know...=272285&vernum=7 A for why th Ricoh Scans are being effected. I believe they embed the images when they create a PDF. The Blackberry service only supports embedded images as TIFF only. I woud try to find out how the copier makes the pdf conversion. Your really dealing with a Blackberry Attachment service issue

the 350 and the 1045 had a problem with the drum end seals, they would flatten out and you would dust at the ends. change those seals with the drum and you will see a much cleaner machine.also if the waste toner collects to long it will spill out mainly on the rear side which can also look like bad seals. the 1045 dev roller on op side will build up a coating, ricoh modified the roller but same results. remove roller andscotch brite it clean,making sure it is clean before reinstalling, this

Do you not sell the JP8500? Using U.S. Communities pricing, you could sell the JP8500 and the TCII 2-color system for less than the Riso RP3700. Your only other option is to get real cheap on the per copy cost of your copier to minimize the cost difference.

Do you setup ACCESORIES after the install driver, setup TRAY size , the driver must be correct for each MFP. then setup PRINTER PREFERENCES, and the tab PAGE must be setup correct size paper. That is all angeles3d@hotmail.com

Memory Lock is a feature that allows incoming faxes to be stored, and not printed until an ID Code is entered to retrieve the fzx. On page 38 of the Advanced Features Fax Reference Book explains how to activate this option. If you need the owners manual, we are a Savin dealer, and I can email the pdf file.

A Tech Instructor at Ricoh told me that memory cannot be upgraded on the 2018d with the all-in-one print/scan/fax option. The system comes with 192mb RAM and the fax option has 160 pages of fax memory. However, if customer is sending out 50 pages of loan docs using legal paper, and has more than 25% coverage, the memory cannot hold the load. And there is no way to partition the memory so only the fax can use more of the 192mb. My only option was to propose a 4410L with Feature Expander as

I just came from an account. They are running Acrobat 7.0, they are able to scan to pdf, when they try to print they are only able to print a few inches of the drawing and the rest of the page is blank. A few times the Plotbase server just hung, we have 512MB. We then came up with an Adobe Acrobat error, I clicked to send the report to MS and was then prompted that there is a problem with Adobe Acrobat 7.0, the MS prompt told the customer to contact Adobe. The customer is going to contact them

We currently use the memory lock for HIPPA compliance in medical installations. Also you may want to check into reverse order printing, this will cause all faxes to receive to memory and print page 1 on top ready to read.

You can get wireless access points for under $80. Connect anything wireless to USB or I prefer RJ45. An ethernet cable to Ricoh device network card. Easy to setup and reliable.

Hi Guys Hope everyone is well, Just a quick one- We have a customer that uses ellpise( basicaly the same as SAP) . They are currently printing out the data from elipse then the go and make copies and merge the data with a standard template, and then the fax this out. Their question to us is- do we have a solution that may help them where they can automaticaly LAN FAX the data out but with the information already merged into the template.

We have a customer using PCL5c driver, some people have user codes that do not allow color printing, only black and white. If person without color permissions tries to print a color job the job comes out in black and white. That is what we want. We have another customer using postscript driver. On that driver when we send a color job using a user code only allowing black and white nothing prints out and an error shows up. Does anyone know a way to make it print black and white like the pcl

We have a customer with Savin 4035e/SR790 finisher/fax board, this customer would like to have their faxes printed when the transmission is complete as opposed to a page at a time as they come in, to avoid users removing faxes before they are complete, we attempted to have them printed to an output destination that would accommodate reverse order printing, but it is not possible as all destinations print face down. Do you know of any other methods?

I want to use combine feature to copy on something in the bypass but whenever we select combine the bypass "grays out". Is there a way to make the bypass an available paper source for combine feature?

Does this mean all of their emails would be encrypted? If so, how can anyone outside of thier company read the email if it is encrypted? Do they really need the emails to be encrypted? I believe Ricoh now has an agreement w/ecopy. Try to give your DSM a call. can anyone else help? Art

I was at a Ricoh meeting recently where the subject of a potential eCopy relationship was brought up. The Ricoh Rep came back to the meeting later after checking with higher ups and reported that there was not nor was there about to be a relationship with eCopy. The response may have been more to appease the folks from EFI who were there promoting their "Digital StoreFront" and "SendMe" Packages.

Encryption is available on the new 2051/2075 series, plus other security features. The encryption is 54 bit, and only while the documents are on the hard drive. Ricoh is leaning hard towards SECURITY.

Scan to email with encryption

I am up against Canon IR3570 with embedded ecopy. Canon is pushing the scan to email with encryption for sending secure documents. Any suggestions as how I can compete with the Aficio 2035eSP. They are also promoting the signature stamp feature with the ecopy desktop software.

but the Savin can't. Again the Minolta is the better machine and the customer is not worried what extras the Savin comes with. They want the better print/copy quality. I did talk to the customer an informed them the the Minolta 3102 and it's variants from othe dealers is a discontinued item. YES, GREAT! If NO, start checking all connections and boards. These include the video cable from 240 to computer, print control board in PC - try another port, and the interface board inside the 240. If all of these check out, and still no scanning, call Ricoh tech support.

I've been in copier biz since 1985 have seen LOTS of copiers come and go, some terrible (somebody mentioned the Ricoh 5560 the other day) some great (1022/1027,1015,2018,/551/700/1060/1075/2060/2075). ALL the new equipment is a billion times better than the equipment in the old days. A BILLION. Really , the Ricoh equipment line is amazing. That having been said, the series you speak of, with the cleaning assembly above the drum, is not a real clean running machine. Drums should go close to

The IS100, IS200, and IS300e can be connected to the any of the Ricoh printers. The 300e is the usual choice for the CL7XXX because it can do 11X17 but any of them will work.

In addition to printing DWG's from AutoCAD, native DWG files are supported as part of a job set using Plotclient WIN. A full seat of AutoCAD installed on the Plotbase Server is required to support the Plotclient WIN workflow. As Bandit41076 points out, you can also get more info by right clicking on the job in the history line. Make sure your AutoCAD version that's loaded on the Server is as least as recent as the DWG file creation version.

The issues were Window components and firewall. The IT person did not want to change these settings. When changed, everything worked great. These are the REAL LIFE situations that we service reps encounter every time we need to connect one of our products. Sales sells it, and the buyer, buys it. Nether know how to connect it, or what’s involved.

I doubt it directly from Ricoh. Most Hard Drive manufacturers cover the hard drive anywhere from 1 to 3 years. You have to go directly to them for that. I did years ago when a hard drive failed on an AF450. It depends on the manufacture and if it was originally purchased by Ricoh and shipped to Singapore or Taiwan, this might have an impact on whether the Mfg will ship a warranty replacement to a different country.

I would be curious to see what your rates are when you visit with GE. Our owner adds points to our rates from GE and our rate for a $10K-75K deal is .0306. Try selling the difference in lease price on a 50K deal when your competitor is using a .0274 rate.

more "Damaged in Shipping" charges, no more "We didn't get the Cancelation Letter in time" etc. You will also gain easy early upgrades and increased profit opportunities at the back end. My company pays salesreps extra to use Clune because they save so much time and money from not having to deal with "the other" leasing companies as much. I have no relationship with this company except that of being one of their customers but I believe in them so much that I would be willing to field any calls

I have been able to print on Mylar tabs from drawer 4 or 5 only with the tab sheet holder. Test the brand of mylar you are using to make sure its in spec and will work. I would make sure the Micropress is beefed up to the max to drive 4 and contact EFI directly to have a TR expert come in for the install (the times I've done micropress/4105 there is always soething that comes up in the 12th hour and they need to have someone from Phoenix support working with your guys or their expert to get it

Is there anybody out there who can explain the the difference between: Average copy volume Max. copy volume Duty cycle for Ricoh products. Duty for 3228 is 200K/month. Unit lift is 3.000K Does that mean that you can run 200K pr. month for 15 month? I dont think so... And then there is color ratio!

We want to know if anyone is experiencing the same problems we have been for years with the 350/450; 1035/1045 & 2035/2045 series. Our techs say these machines are horrible with dusting (i.e. toner everywhere), drums not lasting for anywhere close to full life,, develpoer not lasting anywhere close to full life, and the machines not going reliably from PM to PM. An old service guy from Ricoh (who is no longer there) told us that these machines do have a problem. But Ricoh's offical answer is
