The user would likely have to install a Sharp app on their mobile device to make this happen but in my example they need to load a Breezy app. You can purchase a Wireless router from Staples for $30.00 so how hard can it be to put that inside a copier as a standard feature?

Vince has some excellent points but I remember when selling Word Processing Systems that the highest quality available was a Diablo 630 with a Steel Printwheel and Carbon Ribbon, then came laser printers and then the highest acceptable quality became a laser copy. The bar was greatly LOWERED to accept laser quality (nothing more than a copy). Perhaps what we're seeing is the lowering of expectations as to what is acceptable (production printing notwithstanding). Scanning speeds vs output

txeagle is right we were talking about the 6501's. However the C651 and C751 has it's own set of issues with the drum shake that causes banding. The replacement for the C6501 will be a clean sheet design (new engine) and the C651 will have improvements. KM needs to watch out as Ricoh was a late player to the production print game. Ricoh has been down for too long and will rebound with some excellent print pro devices.

When Ed Schmid was running eCopy they had the best pre & post sales support in the industry. But Canon did not buy a controlling interest in eCopy so when their contract ran out, eCopy opened up to all copier manufacturers, and their support became poor, the rapid expansion overwhelmed them. Know What it is Costing to Print Each Page! With the complexities of network management often print costs are not followed closely and with a systematic view. This means that they can quickly get out of control and when hard and soft costs are included (toner, equipment, support, help desk calls, driver installs, users' lost prints, reprints, etc.) the overall cost of printing documents can escalate. Overall document processing costs can be a considerable, yet hidden expense. Learn what, where

I can more clearly see that Ricoh will focus on Direct and the IKON executives in charge now (down in Malvern, PA) will try to implement the Services-led business. Yet, smaller to

There was also a report that Qualcom may also do something. In another report Ming the Merciless aka Terry Guo is providing a personal guarantee for HonHai to move foward with his purchase of Sharp's 10th gen LCD plant. It's reported for about 19 billion yen. chuck The rich pay taxes period, and yes they can get substanial deductions depending on how they spent or earned that money. But to have that article state they paid zero tax is absurd. We all pay taxes every day and so do they when the buy fuel, clothing, payroll deductions, etc. I do admit that the current IRS thing is hokie and I'm in favor of a National Sales Tax to eliminate the IRS, this way everyone pays their fair share (yes even the people who are in the country illegally). Art, there are only 433,000 people making $1,000,000 or more per year in the US in 2011 (321,000 in 2008). This is income that is taxed not net worth which isn't taxed, earnings are taxed. A National Sales Tax is NOT a fair tax as it inordinately places a heavier burden on Middle Income and below since they spend all they make. Wealthy families (say $1,000,000) don't spend 20 times what a family making $50,000 spends. If we'd simply use the taxes rates in effect during Ronald Reagan's first

I'm middle income and I have no problem with National Sales Tax, you see that's the problem we are in..... x amount of people are NOT paying taxes and that's not the way our tax code was meant to be. EVERYONE would pay their FAIR share and the FAIREST way for EVERYONE to pay taxes is a national sales tax. There could be exemptions for those on disability, but if

A National Sales Tax is basically a consumption tax. It is not a progressive tax as it impacts lower income people much more than higher income people. Although personal and corporate income taxes provide the bulk of revenue to the federal government, consumption taxes continue to be a primary source of income for state and local governments. Are you proposing a new Federal tax on top of existing State and Municipal taxes in exchange for greatly simplifying the Federal tax code? Although a
