They only do them occasionally and this is the first time they have tried so the machine never printed them ok before either. Is anyone selling or bundling ICE? At first glance it is cool to be able to scan to cloud apps like Dropbox, Evernote, etc... but then, it seems like it is more time consuming to enter the information at the MFP. What about Print Cloud? Does anyone have any customers using this or Google Cloud Print (separate from ICE)? My path was an odd one for sure. After discharged from the Air Force in 1969, I became an accountant for Sperry Rand, UNIVAC international Division. I was also attending the evening Division of LaSalle University, working on a Degree in Business Administration. I did well at Sperry, but I was very interested in the diversity of the sales process. As opportunities came about, I was always passed over. Later I was told I was too valuable in my present position, and I thought well, it’s not what I want to do, so I started looking around.....more here

Canon profit falls 43% on year

Canon Inc. said Monday its third-quarter net profit fell 43% from a year earlier on lower sales for its office printer, camera and industrial equipment businesses. Third-quarter net profit was 26.52 billion yen ($244.1 million), below the expectation for Y35.67 billion from a FactSet poll of analysts. I want to take a client from an existing C8003 that has the multi-fold unit and bring them down to the IM C6000 (volume requirements dictates goes lower). The MP C8003 folded documents at the full speed of the print engine. Thus, I'm asking if the same is true of the folder that works with the IM C6000?

Makes sense, although I’m not convinced a billion dollars would deter HP inc. With their recent turmoil from supplies disconnect who knows. To get to their goals they will need a better more mature hardware range that includes office light production and they need it fast. I’m sure the engines are probably ok but dropping their formatters and drivers on top have allot of teething issues. In HP world they have a 49.xx error which is generic formatter/driver issue. I know a few dealers have dropped them and gone back to their original brands because of the high labour costs. It’s all very new technology I’m sure they will get it right after a few more generations
