Toshiba seeking options
- Reuters News Service is reporting that Toshiba is in talks with at least 4 global private equity firms, including KKR & Co., Bain Capital and Blackstone Inc.
- Seeking new strategy
- Engaging with potential bidders for company since shareholders ousted its chairman in June after "colluding with the Japanese government to put pressure on foreign investors”
- “considering and discussing a wide range of initiatives without delay”
- Hope to announce new business plan in October

What if Toshiba becomes the new Xerox provider, as a wholly owend subsidary of Xerox. Then Xeorx uses its own dealers, as well as toshibas dealers to provide it's services.

I have heard variations of this rumor for over 12 months with some flavours suggesting buyouts by Foxconn(Sharp) and other interested parties.

@Ray Stasiezcko perhaps you may have an opinion on potential causes/repurcussions to Toshiba and greater market.

Either way the market is in flux and we are all little corks ducking and weaving the waves!
