Teen hacked Uber, Revolut and Grand Theft Auto maker, London court hears....A teenage member of the Lapsus$ hacking group hacked Uber (UBER.N) and fintech firm Revolut then blackmailed the developers of best-selling videogame Grand Theft Auto, prosecutors have told a London court.....

Ransomware attack hits Hayward; city claims, so far, personal data is safe ....The City of Hayward says was hacked. But officials say, so far people's private data is safe. "There has been no evidence of which we are aware of any data breach, whatsoever," says Chuck Finnie, Communications and Marketing Officer for the City of Hayward. "The nature of this cyber-security event is a ransomware attack."....

Over $750K of NFTs Stolen After Gutter Cat Gang Twitter Hacked .....The official Twitter account of Ethereum NFT collection Gutter Cat Gang, and its co-founder's account, were hacked, resulting in the loss of at least $750,000. The hacker tweeted a phishing link to a fake airdrop of “GutterMelo,” a legitimate collection that was launched last month.....

UK faces hacking wave - ......The UK's largest NHS trust has confirmed it's investigating a ransomware incident as the country's public sector continues to battle a rising wave of cyberattacks.  Barts Health NHS Trust, which runs five London-based hospitals and serves more than 2.5 million patients, was recently added to the dark web leak site of the Russian speaking ALPHV ransomware gang....

HCA Healthcare confirms patient information from 20 states stolen, shared - UPI.com.....HCA Healthcare recently found that patient information from at least 20 states has been shared in an online forum.  In a press release Monday, the for-profit healthcare provider confirmed the data was hacked, saying the stolen information includes patients' names, addresses, birth dates, contact information and the dates and locations that they received service....
