This Week in the Copier Industry Ten Years Ago
Second Week of March 2007
Just when you thought we were done with two years of dealing with COVID19, the world could be on the verge of World War III because of Russia. Gas and diesel prices are going through the roof and inflation is the highest it's been since the early 80's in the US.
It is hard to stay upbeat today and especially after the two years that we've had. I can tell you one thing I remember from the 80's. That one thing is that companies will need to reduce costs yet again. It's not a matter of need or want, they will need to lower costs. Your job is to figure out how to make that happen.
That job can happen in many different ways. Reducing lease costs, maintenance costs, IT costs, or migrating services to the cloud, or even removing print servers for cloud printing. The opportunities are there, they just need to be found.
