So you are going to sell a product that you believe in. Next thing you need to do is your research. Do your "homework". Find out as much as you can about the product and the sort of people you will be selling the product to. If you are selling to a select clientel then you will need to understand them and be able to talk to them in their "language" using their terminology. Also, If that doesn't fix it, you might have to do a firmware upgrade on the machine. For instance, I had to update the firmware on the Savin C2525 in order to SMB scan to Vista PC's. Savin/Ricoh didn't mention this until I called with an issue.

The problem that we are having with the E-8000 scanning is with FTP. Scan to Email seems to work fine but once it is set up for FTP the system tries to reboot itself no matter if you go to the scan or print tab. Has anyone experienced any issues scanning to FTP on the 8000? We have not been given any ETA on the new system software. Anyone know when this should be available?

We are having some issues with scan2folder and lanfax with Vista, has anyone seen any LAN fax drivers for Vista? Also does anyone have a workaround for Scan2Folder with Vista?
