MFP Mobile printing with Dept Codes.
everything prints quickly and prints are recorded properly. Unfortunately, with the latest iOS mobile operating system known as 13.0, Dept Codes go to the Invalid Queue meaning that the copier did not get all of the information that it requires. Users have to go and touch their job on the copiers LCD panel, re-enter their Dept Codes. The job will then print and be recorded by the Dept Code counters. The Decision Maker finds this extra step unacceptable. I am trying to sell 2x 30 cpm colour copiers

instead of quality color so they must discount it. Isn’t an extra penny per print worth not producing embarrassing color output? #2. modular units vs. serviceable components. Take a fuser for example. Today’s KYOCERA fusers can’t be serviced, they must be replaced. Say a jam gets bound up in the fuser and the customer breaks a picker finger or nicks the fuser belt. A fuser with serviceable components can be repaired by a technician for less than the replacement cost of the complete unit. Plus the tech

With Ricoh, do Authentication codes track counter usage? Is the mobile copier app free? I have a current Sharp customer that I am trying to flip who expects his employees to 100% print from their mobile devices. No desks in the office for them to work from. The DM needs to track their usage and invoice them back for their prints made. This type of install is new for me as well.

Copystar/Kyocera 7052ci and 8052ci are still current models as the 7353ci and 8353ci were just released. same goes the the 70/80ppm mono's. not sure when they will get discontinued but we can still order them as of today.

Re: MFP Mobile printing with Dept Codes.
The Toshiba app only allows you to store your Dept Code on your mobile device so as to reduce keystrokes. The copier via the built in Dept Code interface found in the web browser tracks the prints made. The app does not track any prints. It only sends print jobs.
