This machine has had so many problems, not to mention the slow FCO time, but also the poor technical support from HP. The Saddle Stitch finisher has never quite worked right either. I have a Brother fax 560, and it uses the thermal imaging rolls. I just had to recieve a fax at my home office and noticed the thermal roll ribbon was expired. Your comments are well taken, the 1224 and 1232 should be capable of producing 100 copies or prints at a time without going into some sort of cycle. Does anyone know if the CL5000 goes through the same cycles as the 1224/32 when printing 100 pages of color? I only have two in the field in my territory. Question: Has anyone heard or know how to back up the files in document server. Currently, the customer has a Ricoh 1035-P with know scan option. The customer, manually scanned 200 documents. Just recently, the hard drive of the copier crashed and had to be formatted. All the data was lost. Can anyone help. Answer: Document can be pulled from the Document Server using Desktop Binder into a Folder, then saved to the computer hard drive.
