Does anyone out there have 1 or 2 of these? Apparently, while the scanner is still available Ricoh has discontinued this network interface, and we can't seem to locate any. We found one, but it was defective, and we are at risk of an order for 2 of them coming back. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

detect" - blank image. The only way to get a visible image, was to set width & length. Have tried other length documents with same results. Not sure where the cut-off is between image and no image. This is unacceptable for the customer, as they are trying to archive files, and the documents are all various lengths, so not knowing the actual length creates excess paper waste when having to print out a drawing for a customer. The other issue, is the RW480 that was in our Demo Room scanned the

I was involved with this bid. They do not want to do business with RBS but I can not even come close. This is a five year deal. Service is all inclusive along with staples. Just Friday my DSm said I would get no support from Ricoh because this is a RBS account already. Nice to see they support the growth of the dealers while direct gives the farm away.

Something similar here, I had a school distric in NJ that contacted us, knowing that we were a Ricoh Dealer. Alas, since it was a RBS incumbent, we too could not get price support. Not a big deal, there'd be no money in it anyway

bandit - I understand Gartner gave the prize to Ricoh for 2008. I am curious about next year (2009) since Ricoh bought IKON and is shifting away from Independent Dealers. Remember, this poll (and the Gartner ranking) is for the "BTA / DEALER CHANNEL." My money is not on Ricoh.

I just went to BERTL's site to view the latest ITY chat for April, it should have been posted on or around April 10th, there is nothing there? I've heard that they are struggling, due to less manufacturers are getting machines tested because of the economy. Proof is with Ricoh's latest machines there are no certificates from BERTL, anyone hear anything else?
