(HP's Touted Edgeline MFP's "Ready to Rock"? & Who's Afraid of HP Edgeline CM8000 Series?) go here or the rest of the thread

: “Businesses are holding back on investment of new office equipment. However, these businesses should instead consider adopting strategic and deployment alternatives such as managed print services (MPS), smart MFP and fleet document management systems to help better control costs and better manage their office devices with cost optimisation in mind.” Most vendors suffered in 2008. New technologies re-engineer printing

few New Zealand businesses can afford to run their own in-house print shops, Ricoh’s Pollok says that is changing. Lower cost devices are allowing some to consider insourcing their billing runs, while some are overcoming such costs by sharing facilities. For Fuji Xerox, redefining workflows and enabling analysis of printing use and costs is also a key driver of business. Rod Vickers, solutions product marketing manager, Fuji Xerox New Zealand, says the effort is designed to help businesses “fine

Tips to Help Your Telemarketing Campaign The first few seconds are crucial Just like you would when writing a sales letter or press release, you should fill the first few seconds with as many key words and phrases as possible to gain an immediate interest from the customer. You may only get a chance to get out two or three sentences before the customer stops you to say they have no interest, so make them count. Don't assume they need something - this is very off putting. Instead, ask the

Why do you suppose this type of document has been so difficult to make easily available by Ricoh? I don't feel like anyone at Ricoh really cares if you sell something to an end user that doesn't work as promised. At least if you have a good relationship with the customer, you can drag the manufacturers' name through the mud with you.

Hey Larry, when you find out that they are calling on your customers...just tell them to see if the person who gave them a business card is there is 6 months. This direct sales thing is ridiculous....I wish they focused this hard on giving their dealers that got them to this level of success a better level of support.

One step to viability is knowing what the cost of the units are. I have asked at the TSC Booth at the last two Ricoh Visions and followed up after each one and have yet to have anyone tell me how much the units are and how to go about ordering them.
