New 50ppm Color printer from Ricoh?

50ppm color laser. Few thoughts, if this is coming to US market, they need to get a fiery on this. Oki is discontinuing their C9800 which leaves maybe one (Xerox), color laser printer (A3) with a fiery. Id anyone knows of any others on the market, I'd like to know about it. I know I could place a quite a few of these in a short amount of time, if they had a fiery. Art

Tod Pike to Lead Canon Business Solutions Canon USA Inc. of Lake Sucess, N.Y., announced that Tod Pike will become president of its subsidiary, Canon Business Solutions Inc. Pike joins the subsidiary from Canon’s Imaging Systems Group, where he has served as senior vice president and general manager since May 1999. I've heard that you can buy customized "graphic copier skins". Has anyo9ne else heard of this and if so, could someone point me in the right direction. From what I understand is that the graphics wrap on the copier, smililar to what is seen on cars.

Does anyone have any input on what HP printers might be a good fit for this? Thanks!

Anyone selling these new Low Volume B2C Models? With the Rocket Launch and focus that Ricoh placed on these new Products, I thought they would sell better.

The E3100 will be compatible with the MP C2800/C3300 and the E5100 will be compatible with the MP C4000/C5000. How does Ricoh scanning with Fiery printing sound?

Note that this is only valid for the previous generation Ricoh Aficio MP C3500/C4500, and not the new Color MFPs that launched in October.

I don't think there's any reason why Vista would be a problem. If it's an spf or has the AIO-kit and can SMB scan to an XP workstation it should be able to. If it has only the "Enhanced DDST" Print Kit, it will be only TWAIN.

Use polek & Polek for supplies, they may even be able to help you with your question in reference to the HP printers. What's 5% coverage, 10% coverage, etc. follow the link: http://www.polek.com/pdf/page_coverage_examples.pdf
