Over the weekend I picked up the BTA magazine for August. In that article was an interview or Q&A with Oscar Sanchez (CEO) of Kyocera Document Solutions America. Cutting to the chase one of the dealer questioned posed to Oscar.
"The Kyocera A4 has been non-existent for the last several months. We have been informed that little or no product will be available for the balance of this year"
One of Oscars responses stated that in the last quarter April to June of this year Kyocera shipped 25,000 A4 devices. Okay, I thought does that mean 25,000 to the USA or was that worldwide? How about their A4 partners like Ricoh, does that number include A4 MFPs that went to Ricoh USA also? How about the other partners?
I can accept that he meant the USA market place, which means 8,000 MFPs was the monthly average. Does that mean.....more coming later this week
