Is Product Discounting the Way to Go?

Sure, you want the business, but is discounting the way to go? Studies have shown that once the reduced price goes away, so may the customer. Better to slowly build a base of customers who really want your product "at the regular price" and who will stay with you due to your service and expertise.

Re: Sales Tips

The very first rule about selling anything is you have to believe in what you are selling. How many sales people do you meet and you know straight away that they don't believe in what they are selling because you can feel it when people are lying to you. I have quite often got that feeling from used car sales people because they often know they are selling you something that you will be having trouble with later. Most of the time people sell cars because they are having trouble with them or

The fax forward to folder allows for the default file type to be changed from TIFF to PDF. I will see if the forward to email can be changed too.

Re: B2C defined

·
Correct. B2C means "Black to Color." This term was created about 5 years ago to designate the "next big thing" in the industry, which was the move from black & white output to color output in the office. Sort of along the lines of "A-to-D" for the Analog to Digital transition. I think the results of the last few years are proof that this revolution has happened (and is still happening). And to re-iterate what Eddie 2 Times said, Ricoh color MFPs can be used in a B2C environment (traditionally

Re: "cover page"

Art Post (Guest) ·
there are a couple of workarounds for this, the first is to setup a custom print ikon withthe rpcs driver that adds a front or back cover to each job that is printed, however you will have to set this on every pc and explain to the users theat they have to use this icon when printing. Will get back to you on the second one, nust do a little research!

Re: "cover page"

You can turn on "seperator page" from with the advanced tab of the printer properties page. FYI this is a Microsoft Windows feature and is not specific to any printer model or manufacturer.

Re: "cover page"

When setting up the seperator page browse out to the system 32 folder and there are 3 or 4 already created .sep files, all of which will automatically print a banner page before each print job that has the computer name and/or username on it. If this printer/MFP is on a server and being shared you would only have to set this up once, otherwise you will have to do this on each pc.

on the older 3025 series you can only faxforward 2 tiff, not sure withthis one, can anyone else help?

Re: Ricoh 2232c fax forwarding format ?

·
Art- you are correct. With the new devices, we can change the file format to PDF when forwarding to folder only (not email). The 2232C can only forward to email or another fax, so the file format is limited to TIFF.
