I remember the first copier I sold, it was an Olympia wet process job, and it happened back in the early 70's. I was actually a typewriter salesman at the time, but they wanted a copier as well, and I had to beat the guy from Apeco. Czech is correct: there are Ricoh printer models with non-Adobe PostScript as well as 3rd-party Adobe controllers for Kyocera, Konica Minolta and Toshiba (each of whom have their own emulations.) My question is: why is "true" Adobe PostScript requested (especially in 2013 -- HP has been shipping an emulation for 15 years and is still #1, no?)

This isn't machine-dependent but rather depends on having a connection to a wireless access point that connects to the network the printer is on. If he doesn't have access from one building to another, Hot Spot could be a good option.

I'm up against a large MFP install and competing against Ricoh, Toshiba, Kyocera, and Konica Minolta as the finalists. The customer is looking for True Adobe Postscript (PDL) and was curious to know if all 4 of these manufacturers have this or if they use an emulation.It appears Ricoh uses Adobe Postscript, but I cannot tell if the others have this or not. Hello Everyone. I am in need of your help. I have a lease coming up for renewal and I need a recommendation on a machine. I have in place a Toshiba 45 ppm but I am not thrilled with the new Toshiba line. The customer does 7k-8k a month, needs ledger size/print-scan/RADF/Duplex/Stapling Finishing. I am looking at a Samsung SCX-8123 but it is only 23 ppm Also considering Copystar FS6530 which is 30 ppm. Is speed a consideration since they currently have a 45ppm? I am open to any recommendations

I'm running at 91% of plan right now, we track net new business especially this year. I'm about 43% and the number #1 with our four branches.
