Selling Copiers “The Good Ole Days”

Selling Copiers “The Good Ole Days” Pac Man, Space Invaders and Donkey Kong were cool, everyonewas wearingRaybans, Nike Sneakers and Members Only jackets. In 1982 I sold my first copier, I started in the industry as a technician in late 1981. I was fantastic at taking developer units apart to perform PM’s. My only problem was I could never put them back together so they would work right. Thus my career in selling copiers started. Looking back I believe the first copier I ever sold was a Minolta

Samsung Copier Million Page Test "A Tree Massacre"

·
I recently saw caught a google alert in reference to a test that was done on a Samsung Multi-Functional Copier the other day. I thought, wow that's kinda cool, and dismissed it as alink that I didn't need to post on the site. The main reason is that this type of test is so Eighties! Yes, Eighties, back in the day, I would have loved to get a report on one of those tests to send to a customer. Today, I would say that 99.9% of all A3 (copiers that can copy, print or scan up to 11x17) canprint

Sharp Corp Begs Employees to Buy Sharp Products

·
So, things are as bad as I thought they were at Sharp. This recent headline caught my attention yesterday, "Out of desperation, Sharp begs its own workers to buy Sharp products". What was my first thought? Whoa, maybe all of the Sharp Execs should go out and buy themselves a color copier for their home, they are probably going to need it, if things keep going downhill. In addition, just maybe all of those copier sales could right the ship! Yea, sure it will. On March 15th, Sharp Corporation

You're gonna make me get technical! Sp mode 5045-002 set to "5" causes user counter to display square feet. By the way, the 480w (like all good toner-based Ricoh WF devices) is capable of being set to display: Meters, Feet, Yards, and Squared versions of same. The caveat is/was: you should only change meter type once, and it is recommended to do so at setup (or installation).
