After the vote, notice the silence, the silence was there to illustrate that all of these great men were now traitors in the eyes of Great Britain and could be hanged!

 

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

 

That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new
government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.

 

 

My thoughts (and I hope others):  I think centuries of greed, and self empowerment among those that we elect has finally hit a road block. Congress is at an all time low for approval, the Senate, well seems that they are just as bad.  What is the answer?  Seems to me that we need to clear the slate, both dems and republicans.  Vote, but don't vote for either party and then those new people need to be held accountable.
